Right Back At Ya

Hey there!

So it's been a long-ish day. We got let out of music classes an hour early so I just hung out in Dibden for the hour. Voice lessons went well, and Lisa gave me a new song to work on (from a musical!). Urinetown rehearsal went surprisingly well and quick tonight. It's nice when you don't stop every 5 minutes.

When I went to visit Matty, he gave me his old flat iron, and I used it for the first time with good results. Everyone I saw said they really liked it. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Joshua, who got his hair styled in a faux hawk. Poor kid. Everyone gave him shit about it all day. My favorite was at the end of music theory:

Diane: So, does anyone have any questions?
Josh: Yeah, do you really hate my hair?
(pause)
Diane: I love you.

It was hilarious. Pretty much.

My friend Melanie is coming over tonight to watch Mary Poppins, which I'm very excited for. Julie Andrews is going to be at a bookstore in Boston on Friday the fourth of April, so I'm going to see if there's anyway my mom can get something signed for me. She's speaking to me again, by the way.

That's all for today! See you tomorrow!
