Ha, you probably think I mean I’ve moved up to Vermont. If you’re a regular here though, you’ll know that’s impossible. I’ve changed servers. I decided to move to WordPress. It’s a bit easier to use, and I like this layout better. I’m still working out some kinks, but things should be up and running smoothly soon.

Marblehead with Fred
Hey everyone! I hope your weekend is going well. I have a Talky Blog for y'all. You get to see a little bit inside the camp. No campers. That'd be illegal I think. Anyway, yesterday Fred and I ventured around a bit. Of course, I had the Flip!

One Week Done (Almost...)
Tomorrow is the last day of the first week of Tower. As much as I wanted it to be here, now I want it to be over. Yet, I know as soon as it is, I'll be sad. This is most likely my last year there, and it's gonna be sad saying goodbye to so many people for what will probably be the last time. I've got a little bit of footage on the Flip, but not enough to edit together yet. When I get some more, I'll put it together and post it. Bye for now!

Arts at Tower - Take One
Today was the first day of camp. Holy shit it was exhausting. I can't even believe it. I'm glad I got a good night's sleep last night. Travel with me to and from camp:

Happy Fourth of July
Hi everyone! I hope everyone's holiday was great. My parents and I were supposed to go down to my aunt's house today for her annual cookout, but she decided to re-schedule it for Sunday due to the mediocre weather. I was going to go up to Swampscott last night to go to their fireworks, but, once again, the weather wasn't on my side so I decided against it. I'm going over to my grandparents' apartment later tonight to watch the Boston fireworks from their balcony. I'm gonna bring my Flip cam. Hopefully I'll capture a classic grandparents moment. Right now, I'm watching Jeopardy! and loving it. Check back tomorrow for a Talky Blog.

I'm A Dummy
I went up to Tower today... and I forgot to bring my Flip. Crap. Sorry blog buddies. I'm really gonna try to remember to bring it from now on. I'm not making promises though, because I probably will forget every now and then. Anyway, I can't wait for camp to start. Being bored is no fun.

Just Too Good
I usually refrain from posting videos having to do with Mary Poppins, but I have to post this one. Just watch the first part, once Mr. Banks starts giving his speech you don't have to watch anymore. I just think this choreography is amazing.

New Blog Title and Theme
So you may have noticed (if you're a frequenter) that the title of the blog has changed. I've been trying for a while to find a unique name and theme for my blog, and thus far I've failed. Finally, after Gabrielle tagged me in a picture on Facebook, I figured it out. The new blog is titled Room 128, and the header will always be a picture of a door to a room 128. So, if you have any pictures of room 128's anywhere send them in! I'll put an email link in the left hand navigation.
Nothing's really new. Surprise surprise. The first Tower meeting is tomorrow night, and I couldn't be looking more forward to it. I'll bring my Flip and record on the way and maybe some there too. Who knows? OK, well, I'm off to eat some lunch and clean the bathroom. Fun fun fun!

A Visit to the Doctor
I had to go to the doctor today for a physical. I'm in tip-top shape! Yay! So, they wanted to take blood today for an HIV test. I agreed, figuring I might as well. Anyway, I didn't know they had to take the blood from my arm. I assumed it'd be a finger prick like always. Well, I was unpleasantly surprised.
The nurse told me to roll up my sleeve, and I was like "What...?" Well, suffice to say, I was a brave little soldier, but my body didn't like it. I ended up throwing up. I made it to the bathroom, but barely. I looked in the mirror, and I've never looked so pale. I went back to the room and laid on the examination table for a bit.
Then I had to go to the post office to mail stuff back to Tower. Then I came home. I made myself some toast. Then I went and watched The Golden Girls for a while. Then I took a nap for about an hour and a half or so.
Now I'm just chilling. I'm gonna call Fred and see if she wants to come over. If so, I'll get her to do a Talky.

What to Do?
I have an important decision to make tonight... should I watch the Tony Awards or the TV Land Awards...? I'm leaning more towards the Tony Awards because they won't be rebroadcast. TV Land generally airs theirs more than once. That's what I think I'll do.
Today was a fun day. I at least got out of the house. I went out shopping with my dad and my grandfather, and then the three of us went to Honey Dew donuts for coffee/breakfast. I came home and took a nap. Then I made dinner for my dad. It came out pretty good. Not the best thing I've ever cooked, but I'd cook it again. Then my dad and I watched The Bucket List. He really enjoyed it; I thought it was decent.
I've been kinda slacking, but here's a Video of the Week for ya:

This Summer Bites
I can't believe how incredibly boring summer can be. I really wish camp started sooner. It's still about a month away, and I'm ready to go.
I'm sorry the blog has been so boring lately, but my life has been too. I promise things will pick up once camp starts. I'll be bringing my Flip and recording things with some of my favorite campers and my fellow teachers and counselors.
Anyway, tonight is a good night for television. Million Dollar Password is on tonight with Betty White! Love her! Then right after that, Kathy Griffin - My Life on the D-List season premiere followed by Bravo's A-List Awards hosted by Kathy Griffin. I've been watching her comedy specials on YouTube the past few days. I have in the past (and probably blogged about it), and they still make me laugh. She's a great entertainer.
Well, I've gotta go clean the bathroom and take a shower. Will the fun never end?

Rachel's First Time
Being on my blog! Dirty minds! Haha! Anyway, this was last night when I went shopping with Rachel. She wasn't very excited to be on the blog, but I think I'll be able to wear her down and get her in a Talky properly before the summer's over. Enjoy!

Overbearing
It went from too cold to too hot in a day. Not excited. Yesterday and today were so hot that I about died. I miss my air conditioner. Anyway.
I went up to Swampscott last night for Ariana's surprise birthday party. It was a good time. I got to see some people I hadn't seen in a long time.
I took Pa shopping today. My truck overheated again. Lame. We have to bring it down to my uncle next weekend to have it checked out and fixed. Yay!
OK, I'm gonna go try to cool down somehow. Bye!

Dear New England,
Perhaps you think it's still winter. Well, I'd like to inform you that you're wrong. You're welcome.
-Shane
This 50-degree crap can end anytime now. I am so ready for it to be summer. I can't wait to start work either. It sucks being cooped up in this house. Next week is Pride Week in Boston. I think I'm going to the festival next Saturday. If anyone will go with me. We'll see.

Bored, Bored, Bored
That's what this summer is so far. I'd be perfectly happy to go out and do things, but my truck isn't in great working condition, and I have to save my money until I actually start to have an income. I have to go up to Marblehead to check out the video equipment at Tower. Sam and I need to know if we're gonna be able to use it or if we're gonna just have to use Sam's stuff again.
I talked to Iliya last night. He's doing well. He loves his job, and he's moving into a new apartment (I think today). I'll probably go and see him sometime this week. We'll see.
I missed the VotW and the AotM yesterday. I just don't have any new albums to choose from. So I'll put one up as soon as I find one. As for the VotW, I think my Rosie video was amazing enough.
Well, I'm gonna go watch an episode of Skins. If you haven't seen this show, you should look into it. It's a really interesting show from Britain (so they can get away with a LOT). Talk to you later!

Home is Boring
Damn straight. I like not having homework and classes and work and stuff, but it's boring as hell. Jeez. I can't wait till Tower starts so I have something to do.
Anyway, I've gotta get up early tomorrow to shower and get ready to go see ROSIE O'DONNELL!! I am so excited! I have wanted to meet her since her show was on TV. I'm gonna bring both her books to sign (and to read while I wait), and I'm gonna get a little "interview" with her for y'all. I hope I don't embarrass myself. Anyway, I'm gonna go watch some TV or a movie before bed. Night!

As Promised
Footage from Arizona!
Things have been good since I've been home. A bit boring but good. I wasn't feeling so well yesterday. Fred came over, and we made lunch and chilled. Then I took a nap. Then I got up for dinner, but I felt sick so I went back to bed. It was a long exhausting day.
Anyway, I really need to go unpack some stuff. Two days till Rosie!

I'm Here, I Promise
I'm sorry blogging has been so slow. By the time I get to my computer in the evening, I don't feel like typing things up. Anyway, I have some footage to edit and some pictures that I'll put up. It's just gonna take me a while. Things are good here. The past few days have been on the chilly side for Arizona, but I'm having a fun time. We're having a cook out today, and later tonight we're going to a club. That's really all I have to report for now. Bye!

It Will Happen
So I wrote in to Rosie to ask her a question about when I go to see her. She answered!
"shane Writes:
if i bring my flip to framingham, will you record a little video with me for my blog??
sure"
I AM SO EXCITED!
If you go to Ask Ro and scroll about halfway down, you can see the original response.
PS. Arizona = amazing. Got some great footage tonight!

Home Again
Well, I finally made it back home. After a long exhausting day of packing, moving, more packing, more moving, singing and traveling. I didn't make it home in time to go to SHS to see Grease. Now, I have the daunting task of unpacking ahead of me. I'm doing laundry now, and I'm going to the mall in a bit with my mom. Arizona is only two days away!!!

Finished!
I am finally done with everything for the year. It feels so weird not having anything to do. I keep thinking I have to work on something or that something is due. My dad's coming up tonight so we can pack the SUV tonight. I have to check out around 9 AM tomorrow. Then we're just gonna putz around until it's time for singing and whatnot.
I'm taking Mallory out to dinner tonight because I always eat her food. I'm already hungry, but we're not going till around 6:30. Oh well. I hope you all enjoyed the Talky Blogs I've been posting. I'll definitely be doing more soon.
I leave for Arizona on Tuesday! I am so pumped! I can't wait. OK, I'm gonna go eat some Pop-Tarts, take an aspirin, and watch some Golden Girls. Bye bloggers!

Dance Show Thursday Night
So, this week's Talkies are going to be a bit behind. Today's was filmed on Thursday evening. Enjoy!!
And oh my gosh, bloggers! I found the greatest thing on YouTube yesterday! I've watched all 19 episodes and the specials. Dylan's Couch. Honestly, it's probably really lame to most people, but I find it HYSTERICAL! The link is to the left under Check These Out.

So Close!
Last night's show went pretty well. A few glitches, and one terrifying arrival. I'm not gonna ruin the surprise. I got footage. I'll put up videos tomorrow!
After tonight, all I have to worry about are finals. They're not too overwhelming though. I'm not worried.
I got an email from Ginny (the director of my camp), and she said that she wanted me to be a full-time teacher, not a counselor. Which sucks because that means that Doug can't do it with me. Apparently, Tower got all this new equipment and editing stuff that they want me to use. She wants me to teach 5 classes a day. That's ridiculous. We'll see how it goes though... I have to meet with her before I go to Arizona. Joy.
I'm watching Survivor before I head off to dance. I'll talk to you later!

Winding Down
The year is finally winding down. Tomorrow night is the JSC Dance Show, and I can't wait for it to be over. This week has been just so stressful for me. I have juries and a paper due tomorrow, the dance show tomorrow night and Friday night, a final on Tuesday, a final on Wednesday, and then I'm done. I can't wait. It's almost time to go to Arizona!! I am totally bringing my laptop, camera and Flip cam, and will be blogging (semi) regularly while I'm out there. I'm off to class now. Bye!

how could I have been so Blind?
I've had the answer All Along.
It stared Me in the Face.
Called to me.
why did I not see It?

One Down
Opening night is over! It went pretty smoothly. There were a couple glitches here and there, but, overall, it was a good show. I brought down the house at one point. Go me! Anna and Tara got some footage that I'll edit together this weekend for you. It will most likely be up Sunday or early Monday.
I went over to the college apartments for a block party tonight. It was nice to finally be able to go to a party and blow of some steam. We've been working so hard and long on the show that I haven't had time to just hang out really. After maybe an hour or so, I went over to Dana's apartment with some people. We just chilled and listened to Across the Universe and some American Idol too. Tonight was a good night. Hopefully, we can keep the momentum going tomorrow night!

Almost There
We are so close to opening night for Urinetown! I am so excited to get this over with. It's coming along, and I think once we're running it the show will be more fun. This time last year with Cabaret we'd been doing run-throughs for a while. I'm gonna definitely record some stuff for you. I don't know where or how much, but probably two videos worth of footage.
The weather has been so nice lately. I don't think we get spring. We go from winter to summer. Whatever, I'll take it. Tomorrow I plan on lying outside and getting some color. Last year, we weren't allowed to get any color. We had to be pale as Kit-Kat girls, so we weren't allowed outside. This year is different! Yay!
I took a nap so I'm kinda hyper now. I think I'll go look for something to do!

Plan of Study
JSC has us do these stupid Plans of Study once we're going into Junior year. They basically map out our intended last two or so years at JSC. However, you don't really have to follow them. If you took mine and tried laying it out, I guarantee it wouldn't make any sense.
I found out today that I have to play in Diane's piano recital on Wednesday. I knew it was coming up, I just didn't know it was Wednesday. I'm playing Just a Housewife from the musical Working, and Mallory's going to sing it. I'll see if I can get Joshua to film it. If I mess up and make a fool of myself, I'm not going to post it.
I'm gonna go watch some Friends and go to bed. Good night!

Fun Times at Dana's!
I finally got around to editing the footage from Dana's house from the other night. I took a lot, so there are two parts! Enjoy!

My Hair is Messed Up
I finally got a nice shower tonight! The shower head at Mallory and Kate's apartment sucks, so when Darin offered to let me into Martinetti and my room, I was like YES! So I took a shower and then hung out in my room watching TV. I put a bandanna on my head, but it pushed it back so it dried funky.
No work tomorrow! So I get to sleep in! Yay! I took a mini-nap today. It was about 2 hours, but I didn't sleep well the whole time.
I made an amazing pasta dish tonight for dinner. Last night, not so much.
I'm gonna go do something constructive... or fun...

So Tired
I am so exhausted. I don't even really know why. I got a really good night's sleep last night. Yeah, I had to wake up early, but I slept really well. Who knows?
I went over to my friend Dana's apartment last night. Mallory, Dana's boyfriend Jeremy, and our friend Darin came over too. It was fun times. We played some games, I recorded some footage. I'll edit it together soon. Now, however, I'm going to watch a movie and go to sleep.

Sing A Happy Working Song
Hey there, blog buddies!
I'm blogging at you from work today. I'm sitting up at the front desk chilling out. I just spent about an hour and a half shelving/reorganizing records. My hands are all callous-y. It's nice to have something to do at work instead of just sitting around.
Mallory and I got back to Johnson late last night. It would have been earlier except we were driving through South Royalton and Mal says "Hey, you wanta go visit Josh?" And I said "OK". So we called him and told him we were coming to his house. It was pretty much amazing. We had a great time. His little sister is adorable. We played Pass the Pigs and some video games, and then his mom made dinner for us. We were totally not expecting that, but she came over and asked us what we liked in our pasta and we were kinda caught off guard. I was thinking of taking video, but I had never met Josh's family, so I didn't wanta freak them out right off the bat. Now that I've met them I think they'd be cool with it if we ever go back. Which we should, cuz it was fun times.
Spring has finally sprung in Johnson. It's currently 66 degrees out and I am loving it! Unfortunately it's not going to be that warm for long. The rest of the week and into next is supposed to only be in the 40's and 50's. Granted, that's a hell of a lot better than 10's and 20's, but, when you take into consideration that it's also going to be rainy and possibly snowy, it's still gloomy. If it does snow, I don't expect it to stick around.
Sadly, I don't think I'm going to be able to get up to see Garrett's band perform in the Battle of the Bands at North Country. It all depends on what Mallory's plans are. I can't believe Urinetown is in two weeks. It's just unbelievable.
I worked out my tentative schedule for next semester. Depending on what day Brass Methods is held, I won't have any classes on Wednesday. It will be kinda weird to have a day off in the middle of the week, but I'll take it.
Tentative Schedule:
Child Development: Friday - 10:00-12:45.
Spanish III: Tuesday/Thursday - 11:30-12:45.
Spanish III Lab: Thursday - 2:30-3:30.
Concert Choir Vienna: Tues/Thurs - 5:30-7:00.
Pop Culture in America: Monday - 2:30-5:15.
Brass Methods: TBA.
Voice Lessons: TBD.
I'm excited to take Pop Culture, and it even meets a GECC requirement! Hopefully, Spanish III will fulfil the foreign language requirement. On the GECC tally sheet, it only mentions Spanish I and Spanish II, but I don't see why if I test into Spanish III it wouldn't count... I have to talk to the head of the department. I'm not really excited for brass methods, pretty much because I suck at playing instruments. That's why I'm a voice major... And I can't WAIT to go to Vienna. Next year is pretty much going to be amazing.
I'll be taking some video throughout the next few days. Some at Mal's apartment, some at work perhaps, definitely some outside today because it's beautiful. I'll edit it together at the end of the week for a nice vacation montage video. Now that I have the Flip, expect more video outside my room.
OK, I gotta wrap this up. It's amazing how long an entry can get when you're sitting at a desk with nothing else to do...
PS. Sorry I missed the VotW, I wasn't near a computer long enough on Sunday to track one down and post it. I'll try to get two for next weekend.

Travelin' Thru
Hey Bloggers! Sorry I haven't been around this weekend to update! Mallory and I went to my home this weekend to visit my nana. I didn't bring my laptop with me, and so I had very limited computer access.
We're now at her house in Vermont. I'll be able to blog more once we get back up to JSC. Talk to you soon!

Sunshine Day
It's finally sunny out! Today was a good day. I don't even know why. Things just seem to be going really well lately.
Josh and I worked on our song for the Broadway showcase for 45 minutes today, and we sound really good. I'm so excited. Urinetown is finally not totally shitty. I don't have rehearsal tonight, so I get to see the Idol results show.
Tomorrow, I have to go up to Newport, VT for a music conference thing. I'm really excited for it though. I think it's gonna be really fun. We watched a really cool opera today in Music Theory class. Diane got her tenure! That's SO exciting!
The only kinda yucky thing is that I have a test tomorrow in Exceptional Populations... except I can't go to class because of the music conference... So I have to go down at 10:30 and take it before class. Oh well.
I'm gonna go study and enjoy life. I just can't help being happy. Hooray!

I'm Melting! I'm Melting!
Omigod, omigod you guys! The snow is melting! It rained today and washed away some of the snow. After it snowed a little more of course... And tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50s! I am so pumped!
I got the sheet music for Two Nobodies in New York from [title of show]. That's the song Joshua and I are performing at Dirty Little Secrets in April. I can't wait for it.
Urinetown is shaping up. We had a full run-through tonight with minimal stopping. It's starting to get on its feet. Which is a good thing. Now it's not torture to be there.
Tomorrow I have a nice, easy day. So I'm hoping to enjoy the nice weather. As long it is as nice as it's supposed to be.
Nothing more to say tonight. Have a good one bloggers!

You Have GOT To Be Kidding Me
I cannot believe it's fucking snowing again. This is bullshit. I am so over this.
I am exhausted right now. I had to get up early to go do observations at North Country Union High with Catie this morning. It was really fun though. They were working on rhythm patterns. Catie and I basically hung out with this kid Garrett who is a senior. He's an amazing musician. I put up a video of his music a while back... Here. Anyway, he might come to JSC next year. Which would be so nice. He's a tenor. So I wouldn't be alone in musicals!
Well, I need to go lie down. Maybe I'll fall asleep altogether. Good night.

Late Night Talky
Something I forgot to mention: Julie Andrews is going to be in Boston on April 4th. That's next Friday. My friend Kayla from high school is going to get my Mary Poppins album signed for me. So excited. I'm going to try to get her to get a picture with the album for me too...
Also, I've started uploading the Header pics in an album on Flickr. I'll put the link to that on the left hand side. This way you can see all the previous Headers and a description.
Lastly, something big for the blog is coming in the next few days. It's a surprise, but you'll know when it happens.
Have a good one!

Upcoming Talky!
I recorded a Talky Blog for y'all tonight... but YouTube is undergoing maintenance tonight so I can't upload it. But it's all recorded and edited and saved so I will post it as soon as I can tomorrow!!
I decided that this week (Wednesday to Wednesday) will be Blast from the Past Week in the Header! So that means all the header pics will be from shows or events or fun times BEFORE college. So basically high school and maybe some middle school if I can get my hands on a picture from that long ago...
Have a good night, bloggers!

Right Back At Ya
Hey there!
So it's been a long-ish day. We got let out of music classes an hour early so I just hung out in Dibden for the hour. Voice lessons went well, and Lisa gave me a new song to work on (from a musical!). Urinetown rehearsal went surprisingly well and quick tonight. It's nice when you don't stop every 5 minutes.
When I went to visit Matty, he gave me his old flat iron, and I used it for the first time with good results. Everyone I saw said they really liked it. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Joshua, who got his hair styled in a faux hawk. Poor kid. Everyone gave him shit about it all day. My favorite was at the end of music theory:
Diane: So, does anyone have any questions?
Josh: Yeah, do you really hate my hair?
(pause)
Diane: I love you.
It was hilarious. Pretty much.
My friend Melanie is coming over tonight to watch Mary Poppins, which I'm very excited for. Julie Andrews is going to be at a bookstore in Boston on Friday the fourth of April, so I'm going to see if there's anyway my mom can get something signed for me. She's speaking to me again, by the way.
That's all for today! See you tomorrow!

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter bloggers! I hope you had a great day!
Sorry about the lack of updates lately. I've been busy and just haven't had the time to write things up.
Friday was terrible. It was still snowing a little, and it was windier than you'd believe. It was just hell. All the snow was blowing around everywhere, and the school closed at 3:00. I went and saw Amber's production of The Altruists. It was really good. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I worked all day Saturday. Then I came home and took a 3 hour nap. So nice. I did nothing the rest of the night. I watched an episode of Planet Earth (which is amazing by the way).
Today I borrowed Mallory's car and drove down to Northfield to see my friend, Matty. I picked him up, and we went to get pizza in Montpelier. Then we went back to his house and watched Fried Green Tomatoes (also amazing). I love Mary-Louise Parker.
I drove back to Johnson and was going to stop at Price Chopper and McDonald's. Both of which were closed. Lame.
When I got back into town, I stopped and got Chinese food for dinner. Yummy.
Josh is coming over at 7:00 to work on homework for theory. So I'm just chilling out until then. I think I'm going over music for Urinetown with Quentin at some point, but I haven't heard from him so I don't know...
In honor of the holiday, here are two Easter-themed Videos of the Week.

PAGE UPDATE!
OK, so I got tired of the blog being kinda serene and wholesome. Yeah, it was nice for a while, but I decided it was time to change it. Each day (as much as I remember at least), there will be a new header picture. Sometimes it will be a playbill from a Broadway show, sometimes it will be a soundtrack, sometimes a behind-the-scenes picture, sometimes a picture from a show I've been a part of, sometimes it will just be something random. Enjoy anyway. Also going along with the new blog image, I'm gonna stop being a goody-goody when it comes to swearing. Fuck, I swear in real life, I'll swear on here. Have a good one!

It Won't Be Long
So JSC's choir is going to Vienna in the fall. I originally thought I wasn't going to be able to afford it. Then I figured something out the other day. Next year I'll be living in the college apartments, so I won't have a meal plan. My meal plan is $1400 each semester. The trip to Vienna costs around $1600. So if I take off the meal plan and add Vienna, it will only be $200 more than this current semester. I also won't be paying for a single room which is expensive, and living in the apartments costs less in general. So it would be about the same, if not cheaper than, this semester. So I'll most likely be going to Vienna in November!
I talked to my dad today, and we tried to figure out if I need to file for taxes. Neither of us knew, and none of the people he asked at work knew either. So I called the IRS and found out that I actually don't have to file. Hooray!
My dad also mentioned that my mother is still supremely pissed at me. I don't know all the reasons that she's angry, but she's not answering when I call and won't talk to me. So I don't know if I ever will. I talked to Matt, and he said if things aren't resolved with her by the time I come home for the summer that I can move in with him when I get back from Arizona. So if mom and I don't speak and don't figure things out by the time I get home, I'll be living with Matt for the summer. I know that this will make my dad unhappy, but I don't want to be in a living environment that I'm miserable in. Perhaps he and I can get together one night a week for dinner or something.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I have Urinetown rehearsal tonight, big surprise. Before that though, I'm working on the dance that Tara, Rayshelle, Lorena and I are choreographing for the dance show. I'm so upset that I miss the performances on Idol every week, but maybe I'll get to see some of them tonight if we get out a little early.
That's all the news there is for now. Have a great one!

On Break!
Hey there! I'm on a short break from my day! I have to go back over to Dibden in 15 minutes for Urinetown rehearsal! I pretty much live in that building on Mondays...
So cool news, I'm going to be performing in a Broadway showcase at JSC on April 28th. I'm doing at least one solo piece, possibly two, and possibly a duet with Josh. I sang my song choices for Lisa today during my voice lesson, and she had no technical issues, which coming from Lisa is a big accomplishment.
I'm also staying up here for April break, which I think I mentioned. I talked to my boss and am working Monday-Friday. The hours suck (7:45 AM - 4:00 PM), but at least I'll have made about $400 or more in a week. Which will help pay bills and other things.
Well, I need to get my stuff together and head over to rehearsal. It's an all-music rehearsal tonight, so it won't be too strenuous. Have a great one!

Stop Snowing!
I can't believe it's really snowing again. I honestly thought we were done getting snow this winter. Well, I was wrong.
I think I'm getting sick. I had dinner yesterday at 4:30, and then by 12:30 at night, I wasn't hungry. That's 8 hours later. I should have been hungry. And then I couldn't sleep. I was awake till about 4:45 AM.
I'm sorry that the Idol Wrap-Ups kinda died out. With Urinetown rehearsals, I just can't watch it which sucks. I got to see the last half hour last night, and I was disappointed in my David. I still think he'll win, but it was not very good last night. I also miss Danny. Jason Castro did amazingly well last night too, as did Brooke White.
Well, I'm off to go eat some dinner. Have a great day!

Title? I Don't Know.
Giving titles to these entries are difficult.
Today was a long Monday. Especially when I didn't sleep well. I had a very strange dream last night. I dreamed that our choir was going on a trip... to Mars. Yes, Mars. Makes absolutely no sense. Anyway, I had many issues in the dream. I got a fine for something, and I had to go pay the ticket before they'd let me in the terminal. Then when I got into the terminal, I realized I had lost my baggage. So I asked the angry lady to whom I paid the ticket if she'd seen it. Everyone was mad at me, and they wouldn't let me on the space shuttle. I kept protesting "BUT WE'RE GOING TO MARS!!" It was a little effed up.
Anyway, so I don't know why I couldn't sleep well last night. So getting up today, even though it was 12 noon, was hard.
I signed my lease today. I have until April 1 to come up with the security deposit which is $283.33, which is hard to come by.
I also decided to not go home over April break. Mallory is going away for her breakaway trip, so I'm just gonna stay in her room, drive her car, and basically be her for the week.
Oh, and in other news, I haven't mentioned yet, but I am definitely going to Arizona in May. I have bought the tickets and I will be heading out to see Ashley and my Aunt Sandy. I am excited.
And also, I'm thinking of getting a piercing. Where, I don't know. It will be in the facial region. I'm thinking ear, nose, eyebrow or lip. Not sure yet. Maybe nipple? No. Maybe. We'll see. Any suggestions?
Well, this was quite a long post about pretty much nothing. I can't wait for the summer weather to be here. It's 6 degrees out right now. That's not impressive.
OK, well, good night.

Will the Sun Ever Shine?
Seriously. Can we get just ONE day with no precipitation here in Vermont? Just one. This is getting ridiculous. And now there's another winter weather advisory tomorrow. I am so not impressed.
I don't really have much to say. I'm going to record the Talky for you tomorrow. I have all day free tomorrow. I plan to practice piano and voice. Mainly voice because I have that on Monday.
I really have nothing much else to say. I worked all day today. Just as boring as ever. Tonight, Anna and I went over to Mallory and Kate's and played some games. There was a bunch of us. It was good times.
Well, I'm gonna go putz around being bored. Good night!

OK, so he wasn't my favorite, but I liked Danny Noriega. In my opinion, Chikezie should have gone. Whatever.

Granola!
So I'm just sitting here eating a granola bar and listening to music before I have to start the busiest day of my life.
Project Runway ended last night. Now, I was never a huge fan of the show, but I started watching this season at some point and totally got drawn in. I was extremely glad that Christian won. He definitely deserved it.
My class was canceled yesterday, so it was kinda nice to just chill out until rehearsal... even though we just got back from a vacation. My plant doesn't look so healthy. I wasn't able to bring it home over break, so it went the whole time without being watered... Any suggestions?
Either tomorrow afternoon or Saturday night, I'm going to film a Talky for y'all. Now I gotta go get ready for class, though. Talk to you later!

Oh My Goodness!
I can't believe I haven't posted since being back at JSC! Clearly, I've been busy and distracted. Things are good up here in Northern Vermont.
Yesterday was the busiest day of my life. Thursday is looking to be pretty damn busy too. Today wasn't so bad, and tomorrow might be all canceled.
Rayshelle, Tara and I worked on our Boom Boom dance tonight for the dance show. We got 30 seconds done.
Now I'm relaxing and sitting in my room watching CNN. Hillary is making a comeback! It's really damn close! Obama won Vermont, but I saw that coming. She won RI. Ohio and Texas are really close.
I wasn't able to watch Idol tonight because of Urinetown rehearsal. I'm gonna watch the performances on YouTube though. Unfortunately, this probably means the end of my taking notes. It lasted longer than it did last year, but the musical just takes up too much of my time.
I'm gonna go snack and watch the returns from the primaries come in! Good night!!

Vacation's Over
Almost time to go back to JSC and classes, but not before:

NOW:

I know it's a day early, but enjoy. I am absolutely obsessed with him, and I'll totally get his album when it comes out.
PS. Chelsey, if that's you in the anonymous comment below, cut it out. Put your name on so I know who it is.

If You Reach For The Stars...
So I went over to Chelsey's house last night. Well, it was really afternoon/evening. I got there around 4:45. She has two kids, Rhiannon and James, and they're so freaking fun I can't even stand it. James was a little worried at first because he doesn't really know me very well. Chelsey said she thought me might have been thinking that I was a babysitter and that would mean she was leaving. Once he realized everyone was staying, he came around.
They were both fun to play with. Rhiannon kept calling me into the bedroom to watch Finding Nemo with her. I got to play with them in their room, and it was super fun. We got pizza for dinner, and as soon as her husband, Jay, left, Chelsey and I put Roseanne on. We watched that for a while. Then at 7, they put James to bed and around 7:30 Rhiannon went to sleep.
We watched Survivor at 8. I'm not really getting terribly into this season. Don't get me wrong, I love the show still, but there's nobody I'm really rooting for. Maybe as it progresses I'll find someone.
At 9, it was time for me to leave. When I got home, I was really tired from driving so much. It's not a long drive, but when you're not used to driving so much it tires you out.
I watched the first episode of ANTM last night too. So I'm only one behind on that. I don't really have any favorites on that show yet either, but we haven't seen any photo shoots yet.
I went to lunch with mom today. Bob's Fried Clams opened back up. It was really good. Lots of people, not many seats, but good food.
Not much else to say. Doing laundry and packing up tomorrow. Heading back to JSC on Sunday. Talk to ya tomorrow!

UPDATE!!!
Before I forget and it's too late:
Top 10 Guys:
Michael Johns - Go Your Own Way. Kind of shaky beginning. Pitch problems. Flat. Not so great.
Jason Castro - I Just Want to Be Your Everything. Guitar = good idea. Nice voice, a couple pitch problems here and there. Overall quite nice.
Luke Menard - Killer Queen. I always forget him. Too high for his range. Not very good. Got better toward the end.
Robbie Carrico - Hot Blooded. Better last week. Not amazing. Didn't bring it. Should still be here next week. (I was wrong.)
Danny Noriega - Superstar. Song is too low for him. A little breathy in places. Got better in the middle.
David Hernandez - Papa Was A Rolling Stone. Kinda sketchy vocally. Didn't bring it. Could have done a lot more. Good ending.
Jason Yeager - Long Train Running. Something weird at first during the verse. The refrain got better. Not amazing.
Chikeze - I Believe to My Soul. Good this week. Nice voice, not many pitch things.
David Cook - All Right Now. Curious... I don't know if rocker voice is suiting him. Not 100% terrible, but not great either. He's a good guitarist.
David Archuleta - Imagine. Such an amazing voice. He has to win. I love his interpretation. Very strong, but also mellow.

Haircut
I got my haircut today! It looks nice. I am very pleased. Thanks, Chelsey!!
I'm going over her house tomorrow night to watch Survivor. I don't know if I'm going to get to watch all the girls perform tonight on Idol. Matt is going to call me when he gets out of work, and then I'm going over to his house. So if he calls me during the show, then I won't be able to finish it all. I don't really care about the girls anyway. David Archuleta is going to win. If he gets kicked off at any point, then I'm going to stop watching.
That's all for today! Notes and wrap-up tomorrow night!

Being Sick Isn't Fun
I hate being sick. It's not fun at all. To all the bloggers, I'm sorry that the entries are suffering. I'm just not motivated to sit here and write about being sick. I just want to be in bed and watch TV. Which is what I think I'm going to go do. After I eat. Wish me well, bloggers!

It's Coming!
I'm sorry it is taking so long for the Idol Wrap-Up this week. I don't think I'm gonna bother with the girls because we've already been privy to the results. I promise though that as soon as I'm feeling better (I'm kinda sick by the way), I will record the Talky, because I do want to talk about the guys.
For anyone who has ever read Ross Mathews' blog, tonight is the First Annual RossBlog Talky Awards. And I couldn't be more excited.
Have a good night, bloggers!

American Idol - Top 12 Guys!
Hey everyone! I'm actually on my way out right now to class. I said last night that I would have the Idol Wrap-Up tonight, but then I remembered, I'm not going to get to see the Top 12 Girls tonight. So I have to watch them tomorrow. For now, I'll put up my notes about the Top 12 Guys, and I'll record a Talky about it when I get back from class. Then, tomorrow, I'll watch the girls, write notes, film a Talky, watch the results show, finish the Talky, edit it, then post it. So in short, you'll get my notes about the Top 12 Guys today, and everything else Thursday. I'll update this post later with the notes. I gotta get to class. Bye y'all!

UPDATE!!

David Hernandez - Midnight Hour. Good voice, not very energetic. Kind of lackluster and forgettable. Sour note at end. Safe choice.
Chikeze - More Today Than Yesterday. Kind of flat. Boring, not a great voice. Won't make Final 12.
David Cook - Happy Together. Kind of weird voice. Brought it though. Entertaining. Got better as it went on.
Jason Yeager - Moon River. Great song. Strong voice. Best to this point. Very well-done.
Robbie Carrico - One. Strong, fantastic, best now.
David Archuleta - Shop Around. Such amazing vocals. He is my favorite. I think he'll win.
Danny Noriega - Jailhouse Rock. Amazing, strong, didn't know he could rock. Bitched out Simon. (I'll talk about this kid a lot in the Talky)
Luke Menard - Everybody's Talkin'. Nice voice. Not a very memorable performance. Not a great last note. Sharp.
Colton Berry - Suspicious Minds. Great voice, nice performance. Good song choice.
Garrett Haley - Breaking Up is Hard to Do. Too slow, boring, flat, not so great. Sanjaya?? End got better.
Jason Castro - Daydream. Good voice. I really like him. Guitar player. Messed up the end.
Michael Johns - Light My Fire. Strong rocker voice, but not the best. Still very good, made it his own.
Look for the Talky on Friday!
