Jiminy Cricket!
I can' t believe I haven't updated since Wednesday. It's just been super busy lately.
I've been going back and forth between home and Jamaica Plains to see Iliya. We've been having such a good time together. Yesterday was super fun. I took the T in to see him and help him get some stuff together for his trip to Florida. It ended up taking longer than we expected and I was starving by the time we finally got home. He came over for dinner. We were going to make Hamburger Helper, but my dad had already made it when we arrived.
After dinner, we drove up to the Swampscott/Marblehead area to meet and hang out with Rachel. She liked him, at least she says so. Then we drove back and he was going to spend the night at my house but that ended up not happening, so we took the T back in to JP and I spent the night at his place.
It was a great time. I got to meet his roommates Christina and Militza. They're really cool. Militza was very drunk. We ended up going to bed around 3 AM. It was difficult sleeping because his blankets are really only made for one person so we spent all night tugging them back and forth.
We woke up this morning at noon and Iliya made eggs. Christina burnt hers. Then he took a shower while I went back to bed. Then he got himself ready and we hung out for a while. Then I got back on the T and came home.
I won't get to see him for a whole week!!! He leaves on Monday to go to Florida and comes back Saturday. It's going to be a long and lonely week.
That's all that's new for now. Later bloggers.

Shopping Day
Went to the mall today to return the jacket I got for Christmas to Aeropostale, but then I forgot to bring it. Oh, well. I just had to go to the ATM to get cash for lunch.
After eating, I went to Aeropostale to get some sales. I got a hat, scarf, pair of socks and sweater. I was impressed with my savings. $33 for all that. Then went to Target, and I got Friends - Season 2.
Then I had to go to the grocery store to get some baked beans for dinner tomorrow night. I found the beans right away, but the lines were ridiculous. I tried to do the self-checkout figuring it'd be faster. All of the lanes were having issues, and nobody was coming over to assist. It took entirely too long.
Then I came home and watched some Friends. When my dad came home, I made dinner. Yumm.
Then I watched more Friends, I'm finished with the first disc.
Now I'm just bored. I have to pick up my grandfather and take him to the doctor tomorrow. Good night.

Christmas Numbers Two and Three
It's so nice to have more than one Christmas.
The two Christmas Eve services at church were tonight. Obviously. They both went very well. Well, the early one went moderately well. The late one went very well. It's so nice to be back at church; I miss it so much.
When I got home, I spent some time eating and making sure the slideshow burned properly. I went downstairs, and my mom and dad were both awake. So we decided we might as well do Christmas tonight, at 2:30AM, and get it over with so we don't have to wake up extra early if we're already all up. So we had our first ever 2:30AM Christmas.
I got LOTS of Gift Cards. And a jacket I already had, so I'll just return it. Then I presented my slideshow to Mom. She really liked it, and we can't wait to show it tomorrow.
Now it's time for bed. Good night everybody. Merry Christmas to all!

Christmas Number One and a Surprise!
Hey bloggers! I had a nice first Christmas today. Nana and Pa came over for dinner and they had a nice time. Dinner was kinda blah. I'm not a big fan of ham or scalloped potatoes.
Now I'm actually at Fred's house. I have a surprise for you. Remember a while back, over Thanksgiving week, Fred and I went and played Five Dollar Fun? Here's the link if you don't. Well, we recorded it on Fred's camera which, unfortunately, records movies in Quicktime format so I couldn't edit it on my computer. Fred finally edited most of it together, I did the end. So without further ado, I give you Five Dollar Fun with me and Fred!

Busy Busy Busy
Sorry I've not updated in a while bloggers! I have been super busy.
Yesterday was travel all day. And I didn't feel like blogging when I got home. It was a LONG travel day. The roads in NH were very bad.
Today I got woken up early to dig my freakin' truck out. Not impressed. I'm surprised I'm still awake. Then I went to do some errands with my dad. Then we went to Randolph to go to the movies. My cousin, Chelsey, and I saw Sweeney Todd. It was super good. Phenomenal. I loved it. Who knew Johnny Depp could sing!?
Then we came home for dinner. After dinner, I met Fred at the mall. We did some shopping. Then she came over and we watched funny videos on MySpace for like 2 hours. She didn't want to do a Talky Blog. Oh, well.
Now I'm just sitting and pondering life. Church tomorrow. Yay!

Hmmm...
Anything can happen if you let it
Sometimes things are difficult but you can bet it
Doesn't have to be so
Changes can be made
You can move a mountain if you use a larger spade
Anything can happen, it's a marvel
You can be a butterfly
Or just stay larval
Stretch your mind beyond fantastic
Dreams are made of strong elastic
Take some sound advice and don't forget it
Anything can happen if you let it
I wonder...
Anything can happen if you let it
You won't know a challenge until you've met it
No one does it for you
No one but yourself
Vacillating violets get left up on the shelf
Anything can happen, just imagine
That should be epitaph
I wear the badge in
Honour of this world's free thinkers
Those who see beyond their blinkers
Jelly isn't jelly
'Til you set it
Anything can happen if you let it
Anything can happen if you let it
What good is a whistle
Unless you whet it
Broaden your horizons
Open different doors
You may find a you there that you never knew was yours
Anything can happen
Raise the curtain
Things you though impossible
Will soon seem certain
Thought at first it may sound clownish
See the world more upside-downish
Turn it on its head then pirouette it
Anything can happen if you let it
If you reach for the stars
All you get are the stars
But we've found a whole new spin
If you reach for the heavens
You get the stars thrown in
Anything can happen if you let it
Life is out there waiting so go and get it
Grab it by the collar, seize it by the scruff
Once you've started living life you just can't get enough
Anything can happen, it's official
You can choose the super or the superficial
Sally forth the way we're steering
Obstacles start disappearing
Go and chase your dreams you won't regret it
Anything can happen
Anything can happen
Anything can happen
If you let it

Everything's Gonna Be All Right
So I finally had my first real conversation with Shawn today in which I wasn't hysterical or pissed. I think we're gonna be all right. We talked for a while. I'm still hurt by what he did and how he did it, but I think I'm gonna be able to get over it. As long as we remain friends and keep in touch we'll be fine. That's what scared me the most, I thought I was going to lose him as a friend too. For a while he didn't return my calls because I think he was afraid I'd try to win him back or yell at him or something. I'm not like that though. I don't want to be the bitter, angry other guy. I wished him well, and I meant it. I gave him my blessing and told him just to be careful. It was nice to hear his voice again, and he promised he'll keep in touch and that he'll definitely come visit me occasionally if I move to Texas.
I'm finally all done with exams. It's so surreal that first semester is over. I'm glad, but at the same time it's also going to fast.
I had to get up early this morning to go down to Johnson Elementary and observe. It was awful. I almost died walking back up the hill. Well, I almost passed out. It was so cold. I didn't know how cold, but when I checked upon returning to my room, it was negative two degrees. That's why I almost passed out. Geez, Texas is looking so good right now.
I can't wait to get home and sleep in my own bed, but I know after a week of being home I'll be ready to go back. A month is too long. Hopefully, Mallory or someone will come visit me.
Quentin's coming over tonight, and I think we're going to watch Mysterious Skin. I'll let you know tomorrow. Talk to you later!!

Let it Snow...
Thank goodness! Juries were canceled. Halle-bloomin'-lujah.
I think from now on, I'm not going to update the blog on the weekends unless I have something important to say. It's just a hassle to type up nothing.
This weekend was boring. I worked all day Saturday and then went over to Mallory's for some dinner. Then I came back and did some homework. Then Sunday I did homework and studying all day. That was my weekend.
Joshua came over last night and we watched the movie Totally Fucked Up by director Gregg Araki. I enjoyed it a lot. It was really well made. It started off a little slow, but then I could really relate to some of the characters. Wikipedia defines it as a kind of "queer John Hughes" film.
I might watch another of his movies tonight, Mysterious Skin. We'll see. I hate watching movies alone so I'd have to find someone to come watch it with me.
Well, I'm gonna go watch some TV and then prepare for my lesson that I have to teach tonight.
Bye!!

Moving?
So I'm ready to reveal the decision I've been rolling around in my mind.
I'm fairly certain that I will be relocating to Texas by the end of the summer. It's a drastic change, but I feel it's necessary. There are a few reasons behind it.
The first is that I'm kind of sick of snow and cold. It's pretty to look at and nice once in a while, but in Vermont once it's here it stays here. Forever. After 19 years of New England winters, I'm kinda over it.
The second is that I can't really afford JSC anymore. This year, I'm paying $15,240 for tuition, $5,433 for room, $2,920 for meal plan, and $188 activity fee. That adds up to $23,781. For one year. That is a lot of money. I went on College Board and looked at schools in Texas (I'll explain in a minute) and found one, Midwestern State University (MSU) and the costs are: $3,137.75 for tuition each semester ($6,275.5 each year), $150 in course fees (estimate), $32 for vehicle registration, and $550 for books (estimate). That adds up to $7,007.50 a year. That's a significant difference. I wouldn't be paying room and board because I'd get an off-campus apartment. I found an apartment complex that's nearby that has apartments for as low as $495, and an apartment in "an old historic building" that is $550 a month with all bills paid. That's a mighty fine deal I think.
The third is that I've been wanting to kind of get out on my own for real and be a grown up. Sure, I'm on my own kind of up here, but not really. I go home every break, and my parents are only 4 hours away if I needed them. If I made this move, I'd probably only come home for Christmas and (possibly) Thanksgiving. I was considering coming home for the month of July too so I could work at Tower. I would totally be an adult. I would get a job and a vehicle (the vehicle probably before going down) and be self-sufficient.
The fourth reason doesn't really count anymore. Most people reading this (unless you're someone I don't know), probably know about Shawn. He was a boy I met online (Facebook or Myspace, I forget), and we got to know each other. He's from Texas. We'd been talking online and on the phone for months. Many months, and I was falling in love. I was considering moving down there so I could be closer to him. Then I got a text message from him Tuesday night and my life was about over. He had gotten a boyfriend. I was devastated and hurt and angry. Nonetheless, he was only one of the reasons I wanted to move. He was the only reason I chose Texas. I figured, since I found a good school I might as well go ahead with it.
So that's where I stand. I'm going for a tour over February break with my dad, and, if I feel it's a good school, then I'll be packing my bags and heading down there in August hopefully.
So that's the news from me, have a great night bloggers.

On the Verge
So after a disastrous Tuesday night and most of yesterday, I've had some time to cool down and think, and I'm feeling much better. However, lots of thoughts have been going through my mind, and I'm on the verge of making a very big decision. I'm not going to say what it is yet, because I haven't completely made up my mind. It's looking promising though.
Today was kind of a blah day. It's really cold out so I didn't want to go to Psych. I figured that since it was the last day of classes and we'd be getting our final exam assignment, I should go. So I did. It was kind of a lame class but whatever.
After lunch with Rayshelle and Lorena, I headed over to the library to work on those damn tutorials. I love getting paid for it, but I absolutely hate doing it. It's so tedious and boring, but I guess that's why it's called work.
Now I'm back and getting ready for class. I'm gonna make some calls about my decision and then head out. Till tomorrow!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho...
It's off to work I go.
I'm here at work. Just sitting. I'm starving. I haven't been able to go get food because the person I'm supposed to work with didn't show up, and the person who's going to cover isn't here yet. So I am SUPER hungry.
I have a study group meeting thing tonight at 7. I don't really know what we're going to study. It's for theory. Maybe it will be helpful. Who knows?
I don't think there is a single person here in the library... I am pretty certain it is completely empty.
OK people. I promise, later on tonight I will film a Talky Blog for you.
You know what I'd really like? Flip Video! It's all Rosie can talk about. She raves about it and loves it. Ross Mathews is getting one too. I think it'd be such a great thing to have. If only I had $100 to spare. That'll be the day.
OK, I'm gonna go look for a magazine to read while I await my time to eat.
Till later!!

I promised a Talky Blog, but I was sick today. And I slept almost all day. Literally. It was awful.
Julifer's spending the night here I think. We're gonna watch Golden Girls now.
Good night!

Interview!
I think my interview went pretty well. I didn't stumble on any of the questions and I think I did pretty well. I don't know. They told me to be checking my email because Michele Whitmore will be emailing the applicants to set up a second interview with her if we pass this one. God I hope I get it.
I'm spending the night over at Kate and Mal's. Mal won't be here, but I'll be sleeping in her bed. It's pretty much because I have to use Kate's car tomorrow to go to my observation, and I don't want to walk over here early in the morning.
Well, that's all. I'm gonna go see what's going on downstairs (I'm at their apartment already). Till tomorrow.
PS. I PROMISE A TALKY BLOG TOMORROW!

So Not Impressed With Life
Right now, things are not wonderful.
First off, I was supposed to have my interview tonight for the RA position, but due to my own stupidity, I missed and had to reschedule. I could have sworn the interview was at 7:30, when in actuality it was at 7:00. Crap. Well, at least they're being nice and letting me have another shot tomorrow at 6:30.
The second thing that's been bugging me is that some people have just kinda been not great lately. I might be acting a little bitchy about it, but it's been things that have just gotten under my skin. I'm not going to mention names, but I just need to get it out.
I cannot believe I screwed up that interview like that. I'm such a boob. Argh.
I've been working very hard lately on the slideshow I'm going to make for my mom. There are a lot of pictures to scan. I don't remember it being this much with the other one I did.
OK, well I'm gonna go work on it some more and try to get over my idiocy. Wish me luck for tomorrow.

Simmer Down!
Does anyone else remember Stick Stickly? Or am I the only one? He was freakin' amazing. I loved him. Anyway, I found this video on YouTube that I thought was amazing. The video itself is amateur, but the song is priceless.
I hope you enjoyed! Talk to you soon!

And Now It's All Over
Last night was the final night of the Dance Show. It went so well. I was so impressed with all the dancers. Good job, dancers! And where would we be without our amazing techies!? They were just as amazing as the dancers. Great job, techies!
It was so nice today waking up at 2 and not having to go anywhere and do anything for once in my life.
I went to Mal and Kate's for dinner. I made fettucine alfredo and breadsticks for them as an early Christmas present. They weren't very appreciative. Nobody would drive me home. Well, no, they wouldn't drive me home when I wanted to leave, and they insisted on watching another re-run of CSI, so I just walked home. In below freezing weather. I was not a happy kid.
I finally got my music theory paper done. Only after procrastinating for 2.5 hours when I got back. I watched a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie on CBS. I enjoyed it a lot, even though it was really cheesy.
Then I wrote my paper and talked to Aunt Lorrie. Now I'm just hanging out and hoping to hear from Shawn, who by the way is fine. Thank goodness.
So good night all, and I promise a Talky Blog in the near future. Probably tomorrow. We'll see. I'll try to get a guest on soon. And I gotta get the videos from Fred too.
Good night!

Dance Dance Revolution!
Tonight is the first performance of the JSC Dance Ensemble!
Hooray! I can't wait till tomorrow night when it's all over and I have a life again. Haha.
Got some disturbing news last night from Shawn. Hopefully I'll get better news from him tonight.
Julifer spent the night last night. Neither of us wanted to be alone.
I got an interview on Wednesday at 7:30 for the RA position. Hopefully it will go well. It sucks though kinda because Michele and Shaina the RAs in Arthur apparently have been terminated which sucks cuz they're my favorite ones in Arthur.
I gotta go to dinner now. Bye.

Sleepless in Vermont
It's 3:00am, but I can't sleep.
I don't know why.
I'm tired. I want to sleep, but I can't.
My dad accepted my invitation to Facebook today. He's now officially online and a part of my college life I guess.
Tomorrow is my Psych group's presentation. Then I am finally done with that project. Halle-bloomin'-lujah.
I cannot WAIT for Saturday night. It can't come soon enough.
OK, I'm gonna go try and get some sleep for reals now.

Busiest Day of My Life
That's what yesterday was. Super duper busy!
It didn't start off too rough. I went to lunch with Amanda. Then I went to check my mail.
As I was walking to my box, I hear the mailroom lady (whose name I should learn) calling my name. So I'm thinking that there must be someone named Shane or something similar working there. I walk by the window and she goes, "Shane, I think there's a package for you." So she looks in the bin and hands it to me telling me it saves her the trouble of writing it up.
Guess what it was!!!! It was Rosie Freakin' O'Donnell's book!! IT CAME! I was so excited. I rushed back to my room and started reading it.
So after reading it for a bit, I checked my phone. It turns out I had missed a call while I was at lunch. It was my Psych group project member Marissa. She and another girl Kate-Lynn were working on their parts of the paper to bring to me later that evening. So I called her back and left her a message. Then at 2:00 I had to go to class.
After my music classes, I went over to my Elementary Methods class. Before class, I tried calling Marissa again. This time I got in touch with her. She said she and Kate-Lynn would bring what they had written over to me at dance at 7:30 and then when I was done with dance, I could bring it back to my room and finish the paper. Fine.
So I go back to my room after class and read for like 20 minutes. Then I head over to dance.
Marissa and Kate-Lynn come in and give me the flash drive.
At about 7:40, we started staging the part of the finale that everyone is required to be in. It took forever. I was not impressed. Then we finally started the run-thru. After we did Ghostbusters, I asked Jenn if it would be OK if I missed Grease so I could go work on my group project. She said it was fine so I went back to my room.
I got to my room and plugged in the flash drive. Turns out the files were made with a newer version of MS Word, so I had to download some update. Then I put together what was given to me and went back to dance.
I made it back in time for Grease. I did that dance, and then I asked Rayshelle to call me when it was time to do finale. Then I headed over to Marissa's room.
I got there and she, Kate-Lynn and I worked on the paper until Rayshelle called me and told me to come back. I left my stuff and ran back over. I did finale and ran back to Marissa's.
We finished working on the paper together, and I headed back to my room. I got to my room and took a break. I finished reading the book. It was beyond fantastic. I enjoyed reading it so much. Thank you, Rosie!
Then at about ten past midnight, I started working on the paper. I finished at 1:30AM. Then I took a shower.
I got back to my room and had missed a call from Shawn. So I called him back, and then I went to bed around 2:30.
Today, I woke up at 7:30 for breakfast and dance at 8:00. It was so early. After dance, I went to the library to find my article for my personal Psych paper. I went to my room and finished it. Then I went to the computer lab to print out both Psych papers. Luckily, my group member, Chris, was there, and I gave him both things to turn in. I had decided against going to class due to lack of sleep.
I went back to my room and slept from about 10:30 until about 2:00. I woke up and laid in bed until 3:00. Then I went and worked on the presentation part of our group project until about 5:00.
Then I went to dinner. Then I came back to my room and caught up on Ross' Talky Blogs.
Now, I'm relaxing until dance at 7:30.
Till tomorrow people!

Late Night Blog
It's late. I'm blogging. I hate missing days.
Today was so boring and stress filled.
I decided to wake up around 11:30 for brunch. Well, brunch wasn't being served today. Lame.
So I came back to my room and made two of those Jimmy Dean microwave breakfast sandwiches. They were pretty good except the English muffins were chewy. That's what happens when you microwave bread products. I watched an episode of Nip/Tuck and then went to dance at 1.
I got back early, so I started working on homework. I think it was the theory assignment originally, but I also worked on the Psych paper. Then at 4, I went to dance again. I went straight from dance to dinner.
After dinner, I came back and Joshua came over to work on theory analyzing together. We worked and worked. Maddy and Matt stopped by for a minute. Then Caitlin came in and helped us a little. Then Michaelangelo came over and helped. Then Brittany came over and we took a break. She was tired and her feet were smelly. We finally took a couple group photos to put on my wall. Quentin also called and had me come let him in the building. He stopped by for a few minutes. It's amazing how many people come see you when you leave your door open.
After we finally coerced Brittany out of the room, Josh and I went over to the library to listen to recordings of our pieces. I really liked mine. I'd never heard it full through.
Then I came back to my room and watched the end of The Amazing Race. Then I set to work more on my group Psych paper. Since only one person in my group actually sent me anything, I couldn't get much done. Then I decided to just write all the sections myself based on my research and turn my own stuff in. I emailed everyone and told them if they get back to me with their contributions by tomorrow night then I'll put it all together but that I have other stuff to do and if they don't get it to me tomorrow it's not going in.
I ate some Ramen and went over to Arthur hall for a bit. Then I watched another Nip/Tuck episode and finished analyzing the first and last pages of my piece (they're the same virtually). Then I took a quick shower.
Now I'm about to call Shawn for one last time tonight and go to bed.
¡Hasta mañana!

Break's Over
Well, I'm back up at JSC. Break is over, and I have a TON of work to get done. I'm going to take a nap, but then I'm gonna work hard all night and tomorrow because I have to get it done.
Yesterday was pretty good. I went to the movies with my dad. We saw Dan in Real Life. I really enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be, but it was still very well done.
Then, last night, I went out to TGI Friday's with Kayla, Matt, Ari and Gabrielle. We had a nice time. I threw lemons at Gabrielle. Afterwards, Ari, Gabrielle and I went to the mall. It was almost closing time, but it was still fun.
I got woken up early today to head back up to school.
I'm off to take my nap and then work for the rest of my life. Till tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm sitting here watching Legally Blonde: the Musical on MTV. I love it.
Today was THANKSGIVING!!! It was an OK day.
I woke up early, well, early for me, to leave from Rachel's house. I spent the night last night. We had a really fun time.
Anyway, I got home and got back in bed watching the parade. I ended up falling asleep and waking up to the dog show.
We headed out to go to my aunt's house for dinner. We hit traffic. It took a long time. Dinner was amazing. I abso-freakin'-lutely love Thanksgiving dinner. I could eat it every week. It is SO good. The dessert was awesome too. I love pie.
It was fun playing with my little cousin Rhiannon. She's adorable. I love kids.
So now I'm just hanging out. I should start on some homework, but I forgot all my stuff up at school... Whoops.
Well, I'm off to see if I can do some homework. Ciao.

Time Flies
When you do nothing.
I've been home since Saturday afternoon. I've done nothing. It feels so good.
I really do need to work on one of my projects. Soon. Tomorrow. Definitely. I can't put it off.
College sucks. Too much work.
Nothing too interesting has happened so far.
Took Pa out on errands on Sunday. Nana fell over. We picked her up. Scary.
Kinda miss everyone up at school already. If only I didn't have to go to classes it would be perfection up there.
Tomorrow I'm taking Pa out for more errands, and then we're going out to lunch.
I might be going to Rachel's tomorrow night. I don't know yet; I haven't heard from her.
Well, I'm off to make some nachos. Talk to you soon.

You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me...
I am so unimpressed right now...
"The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Northern Vermont and the western slopes of the Green Mountains...which is effect from 6 PM Thursday through 6 PM Friday.
Rain developing overnight will mix with and then change to snow during the late afternoon into the evening hours Thursday. The changeover will occur first at the higher elevations...and gradually move to the lower elevations over Northern Vermont and along the spine of the Green Mountains. Snow will continue into early Friday morning...and then taper off to occasional snow showers during Friday afternoon.
Total snow accumulations will depend primarily on how quickly cold air can move into Vermont while a surface low pressure system develops rapidly Eastern New England late Thursday into Thursday night. There remains some uncertainty...but the potential exists for 5 to 9 inches of snow in the Winter Snow Watch area...with isolated 10 inch amounts in the higher elevations across the Northern Green Mountains."
I am in utter disbelief. It was almost 60 degrees out today.
I never use profanity on the blog, but this time it is necessary... Fuck Vermont.

Eek!

It's A Beautiful Day
It really is gorgeous outside. It's very autumnal today. There's a light breeze that makes it frigid, but when it's not blowing it's just cold enough to be perfect.
Today is Veteran's Day, and in honor of all of our courageous troops past and present, here is a video (courtesy of Rosie O'Donnell):
Dance rehearsals today. Just got finished with Jenn's Greased Lightning. It's not looking awful anymore. It's not looking good though. Oh, well...
Have a great Sunday, blog buddies!
**UPDATE**
PS. Go visit Philip Athan Frost's blog (Apple drink!). He's an interesting guy. The link is over to the left, under Check These Out. While you're at it, check out all of the links there.

Totally Apologize
Holy crap. I am SO sorry. I can't believe it's been so long since an update, but I guess sometimes you just get caught up in life.
Well, it's been a pretty boring couple of days anyway. I don't have to wake up for observations tomorrow. That's nice. It puts me behind a little, but oh well. It can't be helped.
I'm going out tonight. It'll be fun. I hope.
Quentin's coming over tomorrow night to watch Patch Adams. Amazing movie.
Tonight, I promise to watch Top Model and get caught up. If I have time, I'll watch Real World too. We'll see how I feel.
Well, I'm off. Till next time.

Umbrella-ella-ella...
Yeah, this post really isn't about umbrellas. I just have that song stuck in my head.
Oh my GOODNESS, people! I TOTALLY FORGOT THE ALBUM OF THE MONTH!!
Here it is:

Why'd I pick Hairspray? Probably because I'm a bit obsessed with it right now. When I got an iTunes giftcard for my birthday, I bought the soundtrack to the movie. It blew me away. I loved it beyond belief. Then I borrowed the OBC recording from Dana and loved it too. Personally, I prefer the movie soundtrack. That's strange for me, because usually I prefer Broadway recordings over movie soundtracks. Anyway, you should go pick them both up or borrow them from a friend.
So, what'd I do today?
Woke up at 11:30 and went to lunch. I woke up earlier for breakfast, but I decided not to go. I was lazy.
Then I hung out in my room and watched the penultimate (second to last) episode of the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson on YouTube. I liked it.
Then I had to head over to class. It was an OK day. Theory wasn't bad, but Ear Training wasn't a piece of cake. We actually did ear training exercises. We were really rusty.
Then I went to Elementary Methods. It was a really fun class. Our professor's wife was a guest teacher for the day, and she was really good. We had a nice class.
Then afterwards, we (Dana, Josh and I) had to run to dance. I totally forgot we were showing pieces tonight, so I wasn't prepared really.
The Ghostbusters dance went well. Greased Lightning, not so much. It was the first time we'd done it without Jenn Lindsay either doing it with us, rehearsing it with us, or yelling the steps and counts out to us. It wasn't too pretty. Plus a lot of people were missing, but we who were there held our own.
Then I came back to my room and hung out. Watched CSI: Miami and two episodes of Tyra. Yeah, I'm that cool.
Well, that's all for today. Blog at ya tomorrow.

Moo Goo Gai Pain
Wow. Today was very interesting.
I had a nice day with Brittany and Josh. We got up early and took the bus into Burlington. When we got there, we went to Starbucks. Then we went into Old Navy (gag me) because Brittany and Josh like that store and wanted to do some shopping there. She ended up getting a nice sweater and a pair of jeans, and Josh got a shirt.
Then we moseyed on to Aeropostale. Amazing store. Love it. I bought two shirts for $7.50 total. I love life. Then we met up with KC and her roommate Sarah. We all went to lunch at the Three Tomatoes. It was delicious.
We parted ways with KC and Sarah, and the three of us went to an adult novelty store. It was fan-freakin'-tastic. It was so much fun. Josh and I had fun laughing at the funny porn titles. Our favorite was Moo Goo Gai Pain and One in the Pink, One in the Stink. Looking back, it's more amusing that Josh and I were browsing pornos together.
Then we went into Borders for a few minutes before taking the bus back. We got back in time to make most of Mal and Kate's dance. Then I went to dinner with Tara and Rayshelle and Lorena and Amanda and such. Good times.
I came back to my room and hung out watching TV for a while. Then I went and helped Brittany make her bed. Then she came over and helped make mine. Then we went to Late Night. When I got back, Quentin was waiting for me and we watched the Amazing Race together. It was fun.
Now I'm just hanging out enjoying the fact that I have no homework to do.
Here's a fun video for ya:
See you tomorrow!

Did I?
I don't remember if I posted yesterday... Oh, well.
Today was a nice day. I did my observation in the morning. I walked all the way over to the college apartments in 32 degree weather. I was frozen.
The kids were just awful, but that's nothing new. Some of them were doing homework in band during the rehearsal. Who does that!? Who allows that to happen!? It was ridiculous.
I got back, and it was nice that I didn't have to worry about voice lessons today. So I just relaxed and watched What Not To Wear on TLC while eating some microwave Hamburger Helper.
Then I headed over to practice piano, and Diane told me we could start our lesson at about 2:15. So we got started early. We ended up talking a lot so we got done about the same time.
Went to dinner with Lorena and her friend Carly. It was yucky. Oh well.
Came back and messed around with piano music for a while. Then went over to see Big Love again. OMG! I didn't talk about it yesterday! It was awesome. Lots of naked though.
Now I'm just hanging out and waiting. I'll let you know if there's any developments tomorrow.
Peace out, girl scout.

Singy Blog!
I did a Talky Blog. And I sang for you. It's not as nice as I imagine my voice to be, but it's not bad so I'm gonna suck it up and post it. I can't believe I'm putting it up. Only positive comments will be allowed.
Enjoy!
PS. Don't expect this to happen again.
PPS. I'm counting this as the VotW.
PPPS. Sorry about the distortion in some parts, I was singing too close to the computer.

The Three Greatest Words
They were said to me.
Fill in the blanks:
_ _ _ _
_ _ _
Made my night.
I'm in heaven. Can't sleep. Too happy. Best feeling in the world. Except I'm hungry too, so that kind of takes away from it. Oh well. Good night.
How Much
If you knew how much
You meant to me
And how much
Your words touched me
You would know
How much
I love you too.

Weekends...
No time to live on the weekends. Not impressed.
Yesterday it rained all day. And leaked in the library. All day. We had seven leaks. Pain in the butt.
Today, woke up at noon. That was fun. Brunched with Anna. Went to dance. Did homework. Went to dance. Went to dinner. Did homework. All night pretty much. With a couple phone calls in between assignments. Can't wait for break. I am going to do NOTHING over break.
Time for sleep now. I posted the VotW earlier this week.
Oh yeah, the Red Sox won the World Series? Yes.

Whoops!
Sorry I missed yesterday. I was not feeling well at all.
I felt OK in the morning. Then, after lunch, the antibiotic kicked in and started making me nauseous. The whole class period of Seminar in Music Ed., I just felt like throwing up. Of course it was the one night it ran late.
I went back to my room at 5:30 and slept till 7:30. I needed it. Missed dinner. Oh, well.
I heated up some Hamburger Helper. OMG people! Those new microwave Hamburger Helper singles are beyond amazing. So good! Watched Survivor and took a shower.
I was feeling better, so Stephanie came over for a bit and then at about 9:45ish we went over to Kate and Mal's for Kate's birthday party. Sadly, they weren't back from rehearsal yet.
Steph and I stayed till a little past 11. Then we were both tired and had to get up early so we took off.
I practiced piano for a while and watched an episode of Friends then called it a night.
Today I woke up and had to go do observation. So I dragged my tired butt out of bed and walked all the way over to the apartments to get Kate's car. Then I get to the HS. The teacher I'm observing is out today. WHAT!? So I figure I shouldn't waste the trip so I stay for one class. The band class was going to watch a movie and I didn't feel like I needed to stay for that so I left.
Came back. Went back to sleep.
Woke up at noon. Practiced for voice. Went to voice at 12:30. I didn't do awful today.
At 2:50 I have to head over to piano. And that's my day.
Hopefully, I can stop feeling like crap soon. That'd be fun.
OK, bye people.

Rainy Day Blues
Today was awful in the weather department. It was rainy and yucky all day long. It was at least not terribly chilly though.
I have to wake up early tomorrow and go to this meeting with a professional with my group from Psych. I really don't want to wake up at 6:30 again. Lame. It might be interesting though.
I've been pretty productive today. Overall. I asked Diane to write me a letter of recommendation. I typed up all my notes from observations over break. I scanned a bunch of pictures for the slideshow for my mom for Christmas. Later, I'm gonna work on the paper for Elementary Methods and practice piano and voice. Go me.
OK, I'm off. Ciao.

What Is Love?
what is love?
love is never feeling alone.
love is communication.
love is warm and fuzzy.
love is confusing.
love is painful.
love is healing.
love is absolute.
love is unconditional.
love is real.
love is hugs and kisses.
love is true.
love is pure.
love is cuddling.
love is holding hands.
love is unforgettable.
love is as delicate as a bubble. (anonymous)
love is being together.
love is spontaneous.
love is conversations into the night.
love is compromise.
love is sickening.
love is irreplaceable.
love is that feeling in your stomach.
love is what puts a smile on your face.
love is never ending.
love is the most amazing thing in the world.
love is what makes the world go round.
love is necessary.
love is oxygen.
love is yes.
send this to the one you love. leave a comment with your definition of love, perhaps i'll update my poem (with all due credit of course).

The Bat's Mouth
(Title = Irrelevant)
Yesterday was the VMEA conference. It was pretty good. Other than having to get up at a God-awful time. The workshops were fun. The free stuff was better.
Today was long. I just felt sick and tired all day long. Not impressed.
So, I'm off to watch What Not To Wear and then perhaps some Real World.
Till tomorrow.

I cannot believe I am at my 100th post already!! It hasn't even been that long.
Well, it's going to be short. I'm on NyQuil.
Today was the VMEA Conference. (Vermont Music Educators' Association)
It was fun.
I'll talk about it tomorrow.
Here's our group picture though. We're missing five people. They left early. Lame.

Talky Blog with Lots of Guests
Hey there! Sorry I couldn't post this last night, I was having trouble logging in.
I went to Dana's last night to watch Legally Blonde: The Musical. It was really good.
Before that, I was at Rayshelle and Tara's and I brought my laptop so we could do a Talky Blog! There were lots of guests, and one unexpected one... Enjoy.

Missed a Day
Sometimes... it happens. I'm currently back up in Johnson staying at Mallory's apartment. She's making cookies.
Last night, was super fun. This morning, not so much. I went to Emerson last night to see Kellum. We had a good time. I had to take the Orange Line in, and he specifically told me to go to Downtown Crossing, so that's where I went. So, I get there and call him and he asks where I am and where I got off. So I tell him Downtown Crossing, and he says "I told you Chinatown!" So he came and found me at Downtown Crossing.
We walked back to his building and on the way saw two people with no pants. Not really, they just had light colored pants. It was really windy, and we were really cold. Not fun.
Signing into his building is a pain in the ass. The resident has to give the desk person his/her card and the desk person writes down the info. Then the desk person takes the guest's ID and writes down his/her info and keeps the ID. That is SO lame.
So we go up to his suite and I meet his friend Kelly. She was really good at Guitar Hero.
Oh yeah, I saw Adam Kipfer in the elevator.
Then we went to Dragtoberfest. It was really lame. It's pretty much students dressing in drag (both boys and girls) and lip synching to songs. I was told it was better last year. I met Kellum's friend Sydney, she was really nice.
Then we went back up to his room, then we left his room.
We went and he got a slice of pizza. Then we argued about how close the North End is to Faneuil Hall. I lost. Oh, damn.
We went to this cupcake place that puts ice cream instead of cream as filling. It was messy.
Then we walked all over Boston. We were trying to find Marlborough St. It took forever. My feet hurt, my legs hurt. We finally found it after realizing we'd passed it like 10 times.
Kellum wanted to make a quick appearance at a party his friend was having. It was meh. It was based on an episode of The Sarah Silverman Program. They were all drinking orange drinks out of cough syrup bottles.
Then we left. Kellum was drunk, and he had to pee. A lot. He almost peed in the commons.
Then we went up to his room. He microwaved a pizza that wasn't supposed to be microwaved.
Then we put on Wedding Crashers and a bunch of people showed up. Then we went to sleep.
I think he got up at about 4 AM for something. My mattress deflated gradually all night.
Then the best part: the fire alarm went off at 7:15 AM. Who does that!? That is just CRUEL! And we were on the twelfth floor. It took us about 10 minutes just to start moving in the stairwell. We'd have been dead. I couldn't find one of my socks, but I had everything else, so I just signed out and went to the T.
I got home and ate breakfast and finished packing. Then Dad and I headed off.
Now I'm back. Mallory and I watched three episodes of Weeds. She likes it.
Now Lorena's here because she was alone all week. Mallory is making cookies. They will be yummy. We're gonna play Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? and possibly Apples to Apples. Fun stuff.
I'll probably do a Talky Blog soon.
Till then.

Boring-est Day Ever
Today was super boring. Literally. I don't even know why I'm writing about it.
I did my observations. Got out about 1:00.
Came home and slept. For like 3 hours.
Made dinner. Watched Survivor: China and CSI:, and that was my night.
Now, I'll be up all night because I took such a long nap. Oh well.
Boston tomorrow night with Kellum. I'm excited. It will be good times. Then back to JSC on Saturday. Yay!
Good night bloggers!

Good Morning Baltimore
Title of this entry is irrelevant.
I forgot to update yesterday! Sorry!
I did my first observation with Mrs. Bowler yesterday. The kids are strange. I thought I wouldn't know many of them because they're so much younger, but I do. Oh, well. It's still fun. She introduces me as Mr. Mulcahy. I'm not that old. Ew.
Aunt Sandy and Ashley left yesterday as well. It was sad to see them go. Aunt Sandy said she won't rat out Ashley and me to my parents. She's a cool aunt.
Did my second observation today. The kids seemed less rambunctious today. Except for her sixth grade chorus, which is currently mandatory. That's going to change soon.
Went to Boston tonight. I was supposed to meet up with Kathleen and David Landy, but he couldn't make it so it was just Kathleen and me. We had fun. Went to the Cambridge Side Galleria. Big ol' mall.
Got home and watched ANTM. That bitch Bianca wouldn't stop complaining about her haircut. It looked so much better, but she just bitched the whole time. Lame.
OK, well that's all.
Good night.

Real Update
So my hair... is red. Ish. I like it.
Traveling yesterday sucked. I hate buses. Oh, well.
I'm home. Ashley and Aunt Sandy are visiting. That's fun.
We went over to Nana and Pa's today. Good times. Ashley cut Nana's hair. I'll put some pictures below. Then Ashley dyed my hair. It came out decent if I do say so myself. I would post pictures of that, but you can't really tell in pictures. It's kind of subtle.
Finally caught ANTM tonight. Bianca is a freakin' bitch. I hate her, yet I want her to stay because I like watching her. I really like Jenah and Janet and Saliesha.
Oh, and I suppose I'll post a Video of the Week:
I promise a Talky Blog with Ashley tomorrow. Maybe tonight if we get bored.
Laters.

So Bored
OK, so the fact that everyone pretty much is gone sucks. It's so boring with nobody around. I can't wait to get home tomorrow and see everyone.
I talked to Ashley tonight and she already said that she's bored and can't wait for me to get there. It's gonna be fun to see her. I'm gonna try to get her in a Talky Blog. How fun!?
I have to go pack. I really don't want to. It's only 8:35 and I already just want to sleep.
Ugh.
Ciao.
PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO RACHEL!

Why?
So tonight I was supposed to go to Dana's to watch ANTM. Well...
So Jahida picks me up around 9:45. We head over to Dana's. I decide to make some Annie's. Yum. So we're looking through the guide on the cable box, and it says that TMZ is on at 10, not ANTM. So we're like, what? So we check TV Guide online and it says the same. So we wait till 10 just to be sure and guess what? NOT ON! WHAT?!
Not impressed. So I just hung out and watched the Real World and Family Guy. I don't understand these girls on RW. They make no sense. Like first Parisa makes out with this Aussie guy, Alex. Then Trisha does. Then Shauvon tells Parisa about it, and Parisa goes and hangs out with him again right afterward. NO SENSE! But, whatever.
OK, that's all. No class tomorrow morning. YAY!
Good night!

Best Quote Ever
"Love, what is love? I don't think you can really put it into words. Love is understanding someone, caring for him, sharing his joys and sorrows. This eventually includes physical love. You've shared something, given something away and received something in return, whether or not you're married, whether or not you have a baby. Losing your virtue doesn't matter, as long as you know that for as long as you live you'll have someone at your side who understands you, and who doesn't have to be shared with anyone else!" --- Anne Frank
So true.
And I've made a decision. The VotD is no more. From now on, it's the VotW. I can't come up with great videos every day.
Till tomorrow.

Concert Re-Cap, VotD, AotM and Talky Blog!
Ahhh! HUGE UPDATE!
So last night was the Teddy Geiger concert. We had fun. The lame part was when we decided to go to Ken's Pizza for dinner, and it took FOREVER for them to get food. My salad and two slices of pizza came right away. Hah. It was nice to see KC.
Then we made our way to Higher Ground. We waited in a long line. We enjoyed the high school drama.
We got in. Jer Coons played. He was awesome. We enjoyed him. Rayshelle, Lorena and I got his autograph on our tickets. He thinks that I rock, and he hearts Lorena, but he only knows how to spell Rayshelle's name. Hah.
We didn't really pay attention to the two guys between Jer and Teddy. Teddy was OK, I wasn't too impressed. He kept talking about how his strings were new. Lame.
We all got tired and decided to leave before it was over to avoid the mad rush of cars. Then we enjoyed a nice ride home followed by a good night's sleep.
I woke up today and went to brunch with Brittany and Josh. Then I came back and chilled for a bit before going to dance at 2.
Tap is hard. The end.
Went to Mal and Kate's after tap. We made nachos. Yummy.
Then went back at 4 for their dance. Rawr!
Then went to dinner. Then did homework with Josh in the library for like two hours. WHOA!
Then came back. Then went to Late Night with Lorena. Then went and sat in Tara and Rayshelle's room while we ate. Then played Apples to Apples with Lorena, Mel, Amanda and Anna. Fun times.
So...
Here's the Video of the Day:
And here is the Album of the Month:In honor of the month of October, the Album of the Month is Wicked. If you don't know what Wicked is, then you're an idiot.
And as promised here's an exciting Talky Blog:

Happiness
Nana is doing OK. She had gallbladder surgery today and she's in ICU so they can monitor her breathing. I'm glad. Apparently though, she has emphysema and she's known for a while. She's just neglected to tell anyone. Lame.
Today was good.
I observed. I really like doing it. I think I might ask Sally if I can continue coming even after I don't have to. I really enjoy going and seeing a music teacher at work. And she's really nice.
Both my lessons went pretty well today. I was impressed.
Quentin may come over tonight and watch a movie. Hooray!

Sigh of Relief
Talked to Nana today. She's doing OK. It's possibly a gallbladder infection. They're still running tests. I'm not going home early. She told me very sternly that I shouldn't miss a week of school on her account. Can't wait to get home and see her though.

Neat To Be A Newsboy
Continuing with... the titles.
Good day today.
I woke up, and my body said: I NEED A DAY OFF! So that's what I did. I took a day off. Because I don't have one every week. I do something EVERY DAY!
So I just relaxed all day. Read, watched videos, listened to music, chatted. Good. Day.
Hung out with Brittany for a while after we went to Price Chopper. We sang songs together in my room.
Went over to Dana's again for Top Model. I'll be there every week. I didn't get drunk this time though. Well, a little. Not really though.
Then I came back, and I ran into this guy Chris in the hall. He doesn't have internet set up in his room yet, so I told him he could come use my internet. There's something about him. But I'm not saying it here. If you want to know, ask.
That's all. Gonna watch some TV Links and go to bed. Ciao.

It was stifling in my Psych class.
Met with my group for our Psych project in the library today. I think it's gonna be good.
Sad news. I found out today that my favorite cast member from Real World: San Diego (which was also my favorite season), Frankie Abernathy, passed away in June. She suffered from cystic fibrosis. Statistics state that the average life expectancy is 37 years. She was 25.
