Just Too Good

I usually refrain from posting videos having to do with Mary Poppins, but I have to post this one. Just watch the first part, once Mr. Banks starts giving his speech you don't have to watch anymore. I just think this choreography is amazing.

You're Holding It The Wrong Way!

Hey blog buddies! The first Tower Programs meeting was last night, and it was the same as usual. This year, I brought you along for the journey! You almost get to meet my friend/coworker Jen, but you'll see why not...

Well, I'm In Boston... Does That Count?

Enjoy this short surprise Talky Blog as I venture into Boston and meet a friend along the way!

New Blog Title and Theme

So you may have noticed (if you're a frequenter) that the title of the blog has changed. I've been trying for a while to find a unique name and theme for my blog, and thus far I've failed. Finally, after Gabrielle tagged me in a picture on Facebook, I figured it out. The new blog is titled Room 128, and the header will always be a picture of a door to a room 128. So, if you have any pictures of room 128's anywhere send them in! I'll put an email link in the left hand navigation.

Nothing's really new. Surprise surprise. The first Tower meeting is tomorrow night, and I couldn't be looking more forward to it. I'll bring my Flip and record on the way and maybe some there too. Who knows? OK, well, I'm off to eat some lunch and clean the bathroom. Fun fun fun!

Two More Weeks

Tower starts in two weeks! Yay! I have a meeting on Thursday night. I'll bring my Flip and see if I can get some video with some people. I promise once Tower starts, the blog slump will be over. Enjoy Danny Noriega in the Video of the Week!

Adventure with Fred

The other night after Fred and I left Target and Best Buy, we had an adventure. Of course, it was videotaped for your enjoyment. Hope you like it!

UPDATED: Where Are You Going? That Isn't Wheat!

Oh my goodness, bloggers. Fred and I had a fun night tonight. We went on a trip to Target and Best Buy! And guess what bloggers! We recorded it for you! I'm gonna edit it tomorrow and then post it. I'm really tired and I don't know why.

A Visit to the Doctor

I had to go to the doctor today for a physical. I'm in tip-top shape! Yay! So, they wanted to take blood today for an HIV test. I agreed, figuring I might as well. Anyway, I didn't know they had to take the blood from my arm. I assumed it'd be a finger prick like always. Well, I was unpleasantly surprised.

The nurse told me to roll up my sleeve, and I was like "What...?" Well, suffice to say, I was a brave little soldier, but my body didn't like it. I ended up throwing up. I made it to the bathroom, but barely. I looked in the mirror, and I've never looked so pale. I went back to the room and laid on the examination table for a bit.

Then I had to go to the post office to mail stuff back to Tower. Then I came home. I made myself some toast. Then I went and watched The Golden Girls for a while. Then I took a nap for about an hour and a half or so.

Now I'm just chilling. I'm gonna call Fred and see if she wants to come over. If so, I'll get her to do a Talky.

What to Do?

I have an important decision to make tonight... should I watch the Tony Awards or the TV Land Awards...? I'm leaning more towards the Tony Awards because they won't be rebroadcast. TV Land generally airs theirs more than once. That's what I think I'll do.

Today was a fun day. I at least got out of the house. I went out shopping with my dad and my grandfather, and then the three of us went to Honey Dew donuts for coffee/breakfast. I came home and took a nap. Then I made dinner for my dad. It came out pretty good. Not the best thing I've ever cooked, but I'd cook it again. Then my dad and I watched The Bucket List. He really enjoyed it; I thought it was decent.

I've been kinda slacking, but here's a Video of the Week for ya:

This Summer Bites

I can't believe how incredibly boring summer can be. I really wish camp started sooner. It's still about a month away, and I'm ready to go.

I'm sorry the blog has been so boring lately, but my life has been too. I promise things will pick up once camp starts. I'll be bringing my Flip and recording things with some of my favorite campers and my fellow teachers and counselors.

Anyway, tonight is a good night for television. Million Dollar Password is on tonight with Betty White! Love her! Then right after that, Kathy Griffin - My Life on the D-List season premiere followed by Bravo's A-List Awards hosted by Kathy Griffin. I've been watching her comedy specials on YouTube the past few days. I have in the past (and probably blogged about it), and they still make me laugh. She's a great entertainer.

Well, I've gotta go clean the bathroom and take a shower. Will the fun never end?

Rachel's First Time

Being on my blog! Dirty minds! Haha! Anyway, this was last night when I went shopping with Rachel. She wasn't very excited to be on the blog, but I think I'll be able to wear her down and get her in a Talky properly before the summer's over. Enjoy!

I'm Kinda Everywhere

So I'm on Rosie's blog too now. Haha. If you go to her site and watch the video slideshow of pics from her Framingham signing, there's a picture of the two of us. It's about two-thirds of the way through. Yay me!

Overbearing

It went from too cold to too hot in a day. Not excited. Yesterday and today were so hot that I about died. I miss my air conditioner. Anyway.

I went up to Swampscott last night for Ariana's surprise birthday party. It was a good time. I got to see some people I hadn't seen in a long time.

I took Pa shopping today. My truck overheated again. Lame. We have to bring it down to my uncle next weekend to have it checked out and fixed. Yay!

OK, I'm gonna go try to cool down somehow. Bye!

I Wrote A Letter

Dear New England,
Perhaps you think it's still winter. Well, I'd like to inform you that you're wrong. You're welcome.
-Shane

This 50-degree crap can end anytime now. I am so ready for it to be summer. I can't wait to start work either. It sucks being cooped up in this house. Next week is Pride Week in Boston. I think I'm going to the festival next Saturday. If anyone will go with me. We'll see.

Bored, Bored, Bored

That's what this summer is so far. I'd be perfectly happy to go out and do things, but my truck isn't in great working condition, and I have to save my money until I actually start to have an income. I have to go up to Marblehead to check out the video equipment at Tower. Sam and I need to know if we're gonna be able to use it or if we're gonna just have to use Sam's stuff again.

I talked to Iliya last night. He's doing well. He loves his job, and he's moving into a new apartment (I think today). I'll probably go and see him sometime this week. We'll see.

I missed the VotW and the AotM yesterday. I just don't have any new albums to choose from. So I'll put one up as soon as I find one. As for the VotW, I think my Rosie video was amazing enough.

Well, I'm gonna go watch an episode of Skins. If you haven't seen this show, you should look into it. It's a really interesting show from Britain (so they can get away with a LOT). Talk to you later!
