Hmmm... I Don't Know

Today was as boring it possibly could have been. I wish my lessons with Lisa had started today. Just so I'd have had something to do.

I woke up and went to breakfast and came back and slept. Then I got up and went to the library to get some training from Linda at the ref desk.

Then I went to lunch with Lorena, Rayshelle and Tara. Checked my mail and finally got two of my books and a package from home. I figured it was birthday stuff. I was right.

I went back to my room and called my mom. She was surprised the package got there so fast. She shipped it yesterday. I opened it on the phone with her. It was a book, A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier, the Platinum Edition of Peter Pan, and a $50 Aeropostale gift card. I'm gonna have to return the DVD though, because it doesn't have a slipcover. And damn it, I need it.

That's it. I was supposed to go to Burlington tonight, but that didn't work out. Oh well. Got work tomorrow. First day. Woot.

I'm Wayne

Oh boy. Last night was fun.

First I walked down to Julifer's apartment to check it out. Her dog peed on her comforter. She was not happy. Then Rayshelle and Tara came down to pick us up. We dropped Julifer off at campus and then went to Mal and Kate's apartment.

We ended up watching Twister. I hadn't seen it in quite a while. I remember reading the novelization of the movie when I was in sixth grade. It was pretty good. I got really into it.

Then we (Rayshelle, Tara and I) headed back and stopped at Late Night for some food. Tara said some silly things.

1. Rayshelle and Tara are picking out ice cream.
Tara: This flavor is good! What's in it?
Rayshelle: Tara how can you know it's good if you don't know what's in it?

2.
Tara: What's your name?
Me: ...Shane.
Tara: I'm Wayne.

Good times. Then I went back to my room and ate my onion rings. Then I needed to borrow the psych book to read for class today, so I went and picked it up from Tara and Rayshelle's RA. I ended up sticking around with them and Lorena for about a half hour.

Then I came back and read some of it while I waited for Brittany to get done with her shower. Then we watched Freedom Writers. Amazing movie. If you haven't seen it, you should.

I had Intro to Psych today. Lame class. I hate group projects, but we have a BIG one. Yuck. Oh well. I have to go to Seminar in Music Ed. tonight. Then I don't know. Till tomorrow.

Classes Canceled

Sometimes it's nice. Most of the time. Not today. Not this week. I really wanted to get back into the swing of things, and having classes canceled does not help. Diane's really sick, so she canceled on Monday and now today. I hope she gets well soon.

So I have NOTHING to do! No classes today! It sucks because everyone else has things to do, and I just get bored. Suck.

Tara and I, and possibly other people, are going to go see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 tonight, because it's free and I haven't seen it. Fun stuff. They better have bingo again...

I forgot to mention the shopping excursion yesterday. Rayshelle, Tara, Lorena, Amanda and I went to Morrisville to get some stuff. First we headed down to the cafe in Johnson because Tara was hungry. We all ended up getting some food. It was pretty decent. We said we'd be back. After Tara's hunger was satisfied, we headed to Morrisville.

In Morrisville, we first stopped in Blockbuster and looked around. The man at the desk had eyeliner on. He was nice though.

Then we were going to go over to Price Chopper, but nobody needed to, so we ended up making a big circle in the car just to go into Yankee Dollar, which was right next to Blockbuster. I know, lame. So we go in, and Rayshelle tells Lorena to ask the saleslady how much something is. In the dollar store... It went something like this:

Lorena: Excuse me, how much is this?
Saleslady: It's a dollar, ma'am... Everything is a dollar...

We thought it was hysterical. When I told Kellum, he didn't. Oh well. I ended up buying some bulbs for my lamp. OK, so who knew that when you buy a lamp it doesn't come with a bulb? Because I sure as hell didn't.

Then we went into Peebles. Tara didn't want to. But she ended up buying a picture frame for her dad that you record your voice on. Ha.

After that we decided to go to RadioShack to look for dorm phones (for me and Lorena). We pulled out of the lot and took a right because we thought it was across the street, but it wasn't. So we took a right at the light and went back into the first plaza we were in, then Lorena remembered it was in the plaza next door not across the street. So we just scooted over. There was a Family Dollar there and I figured they might have phones, so I wanted to go in there. Lorena didn't think they would. So she and Rayshelle went to RadioShack, while Amanda and I went into Family Dollar. Tara sat in the car and played with her frame.

I was in luck and got a phone for $15 and some batteries for like $2. Then Amanda and I went into the Sears appliance store because Lorena and Rayshelle said they were gonna go in there first. We walked in and went to the back, and some guy asks us "What are you looking for?" And I just said "Our friends..." and he said "Oh, OK." It was silly. We found them in RadioShack and then headed back.

The End!
Till tomorrow.

B-I-N-G-O!!!

O-M-F-G!!! Freakin' BINGO! So there was bingo tonight in Base Lodge, and holy crap it was amazing. I loved it. I got so into it. It was intense. I was like shaking when I was two squares away. It was cool, because they mixed it up a little. Like, in normal bingo, you just have to get 5 across any way, but tonight they had all sorts of variations. The one I was closest on was filling up the whole board. I was one away on two of my three boards! I was so close! And then someone yelled bingo. I almost died. I hope there's more bingo.

I Am So Sorry!

I totally forgot to blog yesterday! Holy crap! Cannot believe it. I had my first class last night. Elementary Music Methods. Not fun. Good teacher, lame subject.

I found out that Josh changed his major to Music Ed. too, so we have a lot of the same classes. Hooray!!!

Slept at Mal and Kate's apt. last night. I missed my king-sized bed. It's amazing. Already been out shopping and spent money I shouldn't but need to. Not impressed.

Had Intro to Psych today. Teacher's kinda kooky. Oh, well.

Went shopping with WOCK and Madonna. Don't ask. You won't understand.

I'm gonna try to do a WOCK Talky Blog in the near future.

For now it's time to eat. Bye!

Back to JSC, Part 2

Promised a Talky Blog. Here it is, no WOCK though. Tomorrow.

Back to Johnson, Part 1

Hey everyone! Just a quick note to say that, after 4 hours in the car, I am back at good ol' JSC! Hooray. My room... is... amazing. No joke. I'll show you later tonight in a Talky Blog. Perhaps, I'll even get Rayshelle and Tara and Lorena over to do one. OK, that's all for now. Got a floor meeting at 7. Bye people!

I'm Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!!

Holy freakin' crap people. It's hot. Like super hot. Like 110 in the shade hot. Not impressed. Thank god for air conditioning. I think I'll bring my fish up to my room once I finish writing this.

So I had a very strange series of dreams last night. First I was in a kind of limbo state, and I don't remember exactly what was happening, but I remember Rachel was there and Lorena. And then my phone rang (this is about 3 am) and it was Kellum calling to say goodnight. Yay.

Then I fell back asleep. And I totally had a nightmare! I was so excited. I haven't had a legitimate nightmare in so long. It was awesome. I'm pretty sure it was about Cthulhu. And I totally blame Tibbz for putting Cthulhu in my mind. If you don't know what Cthulhu is CLICK! It was intense. I was like in this town, and some kids had done some ritual and brought Cthulhu back. And it was totally eating people like right in front of my eyes and killing them. Yikes!

And then I woke up, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go back to sleep or not because I wanted to find out more regarding the nightmare, but it was scary! So I fell back to sleep and had a totally different dream. I was back in high school science class. It was senior year, but I had Mr. Duggan again. And it was weird. He had me drink some concoction that tasted like grape juice. I know. Wow.

Then I got up and ate some breakfast. Put my laundry in. Went online.

I totally need to start packing. I leave tomorrow. YIKES!

I had to drive all the way up to Swampscott to return library books. Lame.

That's about it. If you're reading this, leave me comments! I love comments. Even if I don't know you. Just leave one. I read them all. I don't get many. OK, till tomorrow at JSC!

Arr...

OMG. The Pirates application on Facebook. So. Freakin'. Addicting. Like, wow.

Anyway, today, once again, I did nothing. I hate this. It's so boring. Like I need to be back at school ASAP!! Ahhh! Sunday. Can't wait.

Nana and Pa came over for dinner tonight. It was good times. You had to be there.

Then I went out to the movies with my dad. We saw Mr. Bean's Holiday. All in all, not a bad flick. I wouldn't buy it and it definitely wasn't worth $10 but oh well.

So I did this quick Talky Blog below so I can show you something. Kinda yucky, but whatevs.

OK, well good night people. I'll write tomorrow.

A Nothing Kinda Day

Today was one of those days where you want to do nothing. Which is what I did for the most part. I went out for about an hour and a half to get my haircut, but that was it. I got up at 11:30 and ate breakfast. Then I hung out online and watched some TV for a bit.

My haircut was at 2, so I left for the Swamp at 1:30. Got there right on time. Got my hair cut. Went to the new high school to see if Brenda (I can't spell her last name) was there. If she was I was gonna see if I could get a peek at the school since I won't be around for the open house. There was some orientation thing going on though, so I didn't go in.

Then I headed home, hung out online, watched some of Mary Poppins the Musical, hung out online some more, and then made pancake batter.

I'm going to see a movie tomorrow night with my father. Yay.

Pit Night

Took Pa shopping yesterday. Went to the doctor's office first so he could get a prescription. Then went to a sporting goods store so he could get tennis balls. Then went to Stop & Shop so he could get groceries. Then to a produce market so he could get cheaper fruits and vegetables. Then to the Baker's Outlet so he could get pastries and a pie. Then I came home and hung out until going to Fred's.

Last night was Pit Night at the Clinches. It was fun. Although everyone was an hour late. Once it got started we had a good time. I lost, as usual. Not as horribly as before. I was only at -120 this time. Yes.

Then more people showed up, so we had to abandon Pit. We first played a game called Set which was fun, but confusing. I got the hang of it so I liked it. Then we played this other game called Loaded Questions. It was fun even though I was at a terrible disadvantage having just met half the people that night.

Then I left and went to sleep. Hooray.

Oh, and watch this:

How freakin' hysterical?

Talky Blog with Fred

Hey! Fred came over tonight and we did another Talky Blog together! We got a little swear-y and had to do some bleeping. Do you know how hard it is to find a proper bleep noise? Go ahead, try and find one. I dare you. Anyways, enjoy the Talky Blog with the crazy bleeps.

Also, here are some pics from the night in Gloucester like I promised:

This is Peppy. He is quite sketchy.

The statue in Gloucester.

We were imitating the statue but it looks like we were dancing.

Lots of Missing

I miss Rachel already. It sucks that she's so far away. I really, truly hope she comes up to visit me on one of her breaks.

I went to Burlington today to pick up my tap shoes. I can't wait to start dance! I miss dancing so much!

I miss everyone at school too. As of today, 4 days until we're together. Excluding today. I can't wait to get back up and see everyone.

Fred's coming over tonight. We'll probably do a Talky Blog together. It'll be glorious.

OK. Until later!

Boredom

Being bored sucks. Zachary left. Sad. Went to Target today to do more dorm shopping. Spent $55. Yikes.

So I have Zac Efron's phone number? Yeah, it got leaked with some other people's who were in Vanessa Hudgen's Sidekick. Apparently it got hacked. I don't know if I believe it though. All the numbers have Texas area codes. And I'd think that these people would have NYC or LA area codes, or the area codes of their hometowns. Who knows?

Longest Talky Blog EVER... tomorrow.

It is so long that YouTube won't let me upload it all in one file. Sooooo I have to divide it into three parts. It will be up tomorrow. Promise.

A Lovely Night

Such a good night. Had some fun with Zachary. Got stuck in like an hour and a half worth of traffic. And then on the way back home tremendous downpours. Oh well. Went out with Rachel and Fred. Ended up at Denny's. And then Gloucester. Ah, good times. Talky Blog tomorrow. I promise.

Memories

In thinking about Rachel going off to college and the fact that I'm starting year two, I was getting very reminiscent. So I decided to make a list of my favorite memories with my friends. In no particular order:

  • Choir with Rachel. Our mutual hatred and subsequent constant separation.
  • Being the third tree in the church musical The Three Trees and having to be put on a stool because I was tiny and Victoria and Leila were massive (compared to me).
  • The Christmas Eve service based on Dr. Seuss where Rachel and I were Thing 1 and Thing 2 but we were attached at the head with one of Victoria's scarves.
  • Food fair where Rachel had a fever and was delirious. She thought every African-American person was Ethiopian. And there was a kid who tried to steal snow and ski on one ski.
  • Deep frying EVERYTHING at a church food fair.
  • Being taught how to drive by Fred in the church parking lot.
  • Eventually moving out of the church parking lot and into a cemetery and the parking lot of Fred's former high school (where we proceeded to hit Fred with her own car).
  • The Six Flags trip where we lost everything only to find it all again.
  • Six Flags with Jeff throwing up the whole day. And not learning our lesson and refusing to buy a locker at the water park again.
  • Freshman year science:
    • Mr. Duggan's drug suspicions about Marissa.
    • Getting yelled at for playing games on my calculator.
    • When our final exam was completely unsupervised.
    • The day Marissa's purse circulated the entire room.
    • When I threw Marissa's chapstick across the room and it went into a closet, and Marissa refused to go in to get it.
    • When Marissa went to room 128 for science, but couldn't find it. So she decided to check 228, but it was a math class. So she finally came back to our real room 10 minutes late and got yelled at only to discover there is no room 128.
    • Canobie Lake Park. And the infamous mini-cassette tape. "When I say 'ball'..." and "How does this ride work?" "Well, I turn the key and it goes." "Thank you."
  • Sophomore year science:
    • Holmie stamping anything, even if it was complete bullshit.
    • When Marissa touched Sean's crotch.
    • Always being in a group with Sean and Reed even though Marissa hated them both and had a strong dislike for me.
    • The moldy bread experiment.
    • The awkwardness when we asked to swab Srta. Dalton's room for bacteria.
  • Junior year science:
    • I really need Gabrielle's chemistry folder to sum this up. I'm going to pester her to find it.
    • Ms. Brown's awful jokes.
    • Being lied to about making ice cream. Continuously.
  • Junior year history:
    • Ms. Green. Enough said.
  • Junior year English:
    • Mr. Labastie's massive packet on how to write a thesis paper.
    • The Red Badge of Courage. Awful book.
    • Mr. Labastie's inchworm story. And then Gabrielle finding one on her bag right after.
    • All of Mr. Labastie's anal compulsiveness about papers. That in the end really did help.
    • When Aaron was cheating on our spelling test by having the list on Humza's hood, and Mr. Labastie couldn't figure out what was so funny. "Is there something on my face? What is so funny!?"
  • Senior year Spanish:
    • The craptastic Uruguay project Marissa and I did.
    • The quiz everyone failed and we tacked to the board. Our own Wall of Shame.
    • Senora and Hannah getting into fights and mimicking each other.
    • Sean refusing to answer to Juan and demanding to be called Cortes.
    • E.T. that wasn't really E.T. Maybe it was like the X-rated director's cut...
    • La Casa de Bernarda Alba. Awful. Everyone failing the quiz even though we read it in English because Sean bought the translated version online.
    • Our video final. That Marissa didn't trust me on. We used stick puppets. They were hideous, but creative.
    • The midyear of death.
    • Senora finally giving up on us in the end.
    • The crazy movie with the guy who carried around his dead daughter.
    • Mujeres al Borde de un Ataque de Nervios. Exactly.
  • Drama Club:
    • Movie nights that hardly anyone showed up to.
    • The night we were supposed to watch Working, but Chris didn't show up and he was the one who had it so we watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch instead.
    • Drama Festivals in Scituate, Hamilton-Wenham, Andover, and Brockton.
    • Being yelled at when we were at St. John's Prep.
    • The amazingness of being Stage Manager.
    • Merrily We Roll Along and Working.
    • Senior year council trying to get shit done.
    • The failed apple picking excursion.
    • Canning. Oy.
    • I don't even know where to begin with Mr. Pearse.
    • Not being able to say the word "juxtaposition".
  • Trips to NH with Fred.
  • Random chats about life with Rachel.
  • Stealing trash from the Tennants with Fred and Rachel.
  • Coming up with the name Fred.
  • Coming up with Fred's full alias. Frederick Jehosophat Londonderry.
  • Catchphrase!! "When you're moving and you live in a WAMP WAMP!"
  • Living in Kate and Mal's room.
  • Tracking down Julifer in the woods in the middle of the night.
  • WOCK.
  • Music videos!
  • 80s night!
  • Walking down to Wok n House and being pissed about the walk back up.
  • Cabaret.
  • Music Theory class!!!
There's so many more, but I'm getting tired of thinking of them right now. If I left something out that you feel should be put in, let me know.

All Shook Up

Hey everyone!

Last night was a mix of emotions. I'm not gonna get into it. Too personal.

I went to the mall yesterday evening with Gabrielle, Marissa, Kayla, Ari and Matt. We had a good time and took fun pictures. Ari and Gabrielle didn't understand the concept of shopping with guys. They took too long. Everywhere. Marissa was no help. It was fun though. We were pissed that we couldn't play with the puppies because you have to be 21.

Group picture! Marissa's hair is REALLY big.

Saw the third episode of the Real World last night. I like this season. I love how they have to keep putting the names of the people on the screen. I still can't tell the difference between Trisha and Shauvon. There was a huge bitch fight last night. Trisha and Parisa are at each other's throats. Parisa is too mature for her own good. Like in some respects. She's not really letting loose enough and letting too many things get to her. Trisha is just a bitch. My favorite was at the end when Trisha asks Isaac, "Do you like me as a person?" and he goes "...I don't know yet..." And she just had this look on her face of like wow, maybe it's me. I can't wait for more drama. They should never have 4 girls. It's just a bad idea.

Tonight will be a bittersweet night. I'm picking up Zachary for our weekend of fun. I've decided to take him to the aquarium. I personally think it's boring, but my cousin Tiffany says he loves it. So we'll go there tomorrow. And also tonight, I'm hanging out with Fred and Rachel. It's the last time I'll see Rachel before she goes to college! It seems like just yesterday we were beating the crap out of each other in choir and being separated by Patty. Oh, those were the days. To be young again.

Perhaps a Talky Blog with Zachary will be in the future...

Triumph is Momentary

Meaningless

Why are
we here?
What is
our purpose
on this vast
planet?
Everything is painful.
Nothing more
painful
than love.
Tears are shed
on a daily basis.
Hour after
lonely, endless hour.
Is there a way out?
Will anything ever
be good
again?
Why suffer?
Color
and
happiness
are drained.
All that is left is a
colorless world
of despair
with a sliver of hope
for the future.

Inspiration is Gold

Triumph at Long Last

The darkness of life is enveloping me;
I feel suffocated.
Trapped.
Happiness is a distant memory.
Suddenly,
a shred light appears
from above.
So small at first
but growing
more
and
more
and
more.
The battle between the darkness
and
the light is waging.
Darkness surrenders
and
is reduced to nothing.
The light is triumphant.
I look
and
I realize
you
are
the
light.
You brought me out of the darkness;
you gave me hope.
We rise above the clouds
never to be bothered by darkness again.

Can't Wait

So excited.

Last night was a good night. Chatted with someone from Facebook online for a while. Then I got really cold, but didn't want to turn of the A/C so I laid in bed and watched half of There's Something About Mary. Love that movie.

Anyway, then I get a text from him and so I call him back and we end up talking for over an hour and a half. It was wonderful. Made my night. Happiness.

Life is Good

I've got the world on a string
I'm sitting on a rainbow
Got the string around my finger
What a world, what a life - I'm in love

I've got a song that I sing
I can make the rain go
Any time I move my finger
Lucky me, can't you see - I'm in love

Life's a beautiful thing
As long as I hold the string
I'd be a silly so-and-so
If I should ever let it go

Well, turn me upside-down and paint me blue:

Well, I'm downloading the soundtracks to High School Musical and High School Musical 2. That should give you some indication. Yep.

Boring Day

Hi people. Boring day today. It's just kind of blah. Oh well. Just got home from taking my grandfather shopping. I'm kind of hungry, but I don't feel like cooking anything. I might make some nachos... Mmmm...

I'll probably be going out later with my mom to do some more dorm shopping. I hate spending money. It sucks. Lots. Oh well. If anything exciting happens, you'll be the first to know.

Later.

Talky Blog! AAT Reunion and an Evening of Fun

Here's a Talky Blog all about last night!! Enjoy!

Quick Update

Hi everyone. Quick update. Reunion was fun. Nice time. Here's a picture:

I know, we're awesome. We liked the rolls.

Went to spend some time with Gabrielle because I haven't seen her in forever. We had fun reminiscing.

Then I hung out with Rachel and her friends Ellory, David Landy and Josh. It was fun. My favorite was when we gave David a ride home. He loved driving in the jumpseat of my truck. He never had before. Therefore, per his request, the jumpseat is now known as:

That's right. The David Landy Seat. I'll explain everything tomorrow. Probably in a Talky Blog. Good night!

I Just Gotta Dance

Hey bloggers!

So today I went to Patterson's Dance Store in Burlington to get some tap shoes and dance sneakers for Jenn's and Mal's dances (respectively). I ended up spending $72. Not impressed. But oh well. I can't wait to get back up to school and start rehearsals. I miss dancing.

I have to go in to see Lisa (my adviser) to figure out my scheduling issues. I have three things scheduled for the same times on Monday evenings. Not cool. I might end up dropping choir because it conflicts on Monday so much that I wouldn't be able to make any of it, and it conflicts on Thursday so I'd only be able to make about half, if that. So probably no choir this semester for me.

In other news, apparently my grand Science Museum plans with Zachary are ruined. He's still coming, but his grandmother is taking him to the Science Museum on Thursday. So he probably won't want to go again on Saturday. I now have to figure out something else to do with him. Possibly in Boston, possibly elsewhere. Any ideas? I'd love to hear them. He's 9 years old. What do 9 year olds enjoy??

OK, talk to you later people.

OH! ARTS AT TOWER COUNSELOR REUNION TONIGHT!!!!

Boredom

Hi guys!

Not much to say today. I didn't do much. My grandfather called me at 11 this morning and woke me up. He needed to get a prescription at CVS and go to Stop & Shop. So I picked him up and went to CVS. Then we headed over to Stop & Shop. He then said he wanted to stop by the house to see the new countertops. So I brought him back here and showed him. Then he went down the Eagles (his club) for about 20-25 minutes. We then proceeded to D'Angelo's to get sandwiches for lunch. We went back to his apartment and had lunch there.

Then I came home and relaxed for a bit. Then when my parents got home we went up to Bernie & Phyl's to purchase a new kitchen table and chairs (it's the tax-free weekend people!). After probably close to half an hour of discussion we decided on a set. We placed our order and then my dad said if I wanted to go the mall, he'd take me and buy me something.

So, we went up to Square One Mall. We of course stopped in the puppy store and tried to convince my mother. She's still unyielding. Damn. Then went to Aeropostale so I could get clothes. I decided on a new pair of jeans.

Then I came home and downloaded the songs from Even Stevens: Influenza the Musical, because I'm just that cool. Oh, yes I am. And then I re-heated some pizza. That's about it.

Till tomorrow!!!

Waxing Poetic

The Invisible Thread

I close my eyes,
And
I see your face;
It's smiling at me
And
Beckoning me to come closer.
I approach,
And
Your body begins to materialize.
You reach out your arms
And
We embrace
And
Become one entity.
Our souls are connected
As if by a tiny
Thread.
Invisible, but strong.
The world

Stops

Moving,

And
We stay
That way
Forevermore,
The thread never to break.
Loving life
And
Each other
Till death do we part.

All is Black

You are there
In my dreams.
I shout your name
But I have no voice
You drift
Further

And
Further

And
Further

Away.

I shout
And
Wail
And
Cry, but nothing
Seems to bring you back.
Slowly,
My world becomes darker
And
Darker
Until all is
Black.

All
Is
Black.

Perhaps if I am feeling terribly inspired, more will come. Good night.

It's a Luau!!

Hi people. Hope you enjoyed last night's Talky Blog with Fred. I know I did. Three times.

Well, today I went down to my aunt's house for a cookout. It was nice. Spent some time with the family and organized my weekend with Zachary for next week.

I drove myself. And everything was perfect on the way there. No problems at all. The way home was different. I was great all the way until the last part. I was supposed to take the second exit off the Zaykem (sp?) bridge, but I couldn't get over in time and I was forced to take the first exit. So I went down the exit and decided to turn left towards Somerville rather than right towards Sullivan Square and Route 99. I got on the phone with my dad and told him what happened. He told me to turn around and head back to Sullivan Square, go around the rotary until I came to the Malden exit and I'd be fine. Yeah, easier said than done.

So, I drive a little further trying to find a good place to turn around and finally decide to turn down the first not one way street I came too. Yeah well, it was a one way street. It just didn't say it right on the corner. I was so pissed. So I ended up lost in Somerville.

I didn't want to call my aunt's house back again and look like a fool, so I called my grandfather because he generally knows his way around and I thought he might be able to help. He told me to go past Lawrence Memorial Hospital and that would take me to Medford Square, and I'd be all set. Yeah well, that didn't work out either.

I passed the hospital, but it definitely didn't take me to Medford Sqaure. Finally, I ended up on a rotary and saw a sign for the Fellsway/Malden. I was like "I KNOW THAT!!" So I took it, got on the Fellsway and got home.

I talked to Aunt Lorrie for a while and then came on here to check some things. Now I'm looking for something to do for the evening. Oh, the possibilities. See you tomorrow!!

Rigamortus Rabbit

Hey guys! I did a Talky Blog with Fred. She told quite the story. Have fun.

Sorry that it's so choppy. We were having issues with the camera, this is the best we could get.

Not Much To Say

Hey Bloggers!

Nothing new to report right now. I promised Rachel I'd do a Talky Blog next time I blogged, so there'll be one up later. Possibly with Fred if she comes over.

See you later, bloggers!

FINALLY! TALKY BLOG NUMBER 4!

This one is dedicated to Rachel.

See you later!

So Long, Farewell...

Well, Kate and Mal have gone. We had a great time last night though!! They arrived and they wanted to get pizza, so we called and ordered a large pepperoni from Papa Gino's. They wanted to get delivery, but we decided it would take less time if we got the pizza ourselves and ate it on our way. We picked up the pizza and headed up to Nahant Beach. I figured it'd be fun for them because they don't get to really see the beach ever. So we played around there for a while, and then took off. We were about 5 minutes away when Mallory realized she had left her cell phone on the beach. So we had to go back. Luckily, it was right where she left it and she had noticed right away.

Then we proceeded to go to Marblehead. I wanted to show them the Neck and the Lighthouse and Fort Sewell. I called Rachel to see if she was around so she could meet Mal and Kate, but she was at Mike's. She said she'd call when she got home. Kate called her best friend Meaghan Scott aka Scotty because Scotty spends her summers in Marblehead. So we picked up Scotty across from the Y, and then went to Fort Sewell. It was fun. I showed them where I torched a Beanie Baby. Oh yeah, and Mallory yelled at Justin Cox out the window. Rachel appreciated that when we told her later.

After that, we went to Scotty's because Mallory and I had to pee. So we peed and then went to the Lighthouse and the Neck. Mallory was very impressed with the castle on the Neck. Rachel called while we were there and I told her we'd be on our way to her house soon. So we left the Neck to go to Rachel's. Rachel met everyone and we went up to Crocker Park and saw a real-er castle. We were going to go down to the dock, but there were people and we got frightened.

So then we took off, dropped Scotty off, and headed back. We stopped at 7-11 because Mal really likes them or something. She got a Slurpee. We got back and Mal was hungry so she had a yogurt and some crackers. Kate and I played N64. And for once, I didn't have competition because she's never really played. So I kicked ass. She was pretty good at Super Smash Bros. She just kind of floated around.

Then came bed time. Oh, man. Three people in one full bed. Not such a great idea. It took forever to get "comfortable". It was hilarious though. And eventually sometime in the middle of the night Mallory couldn't take it and got up and went and slept on the couch in the room next door.

We went for breakfast this morning and it was delicious. I owe Mallory $5 though. And then they left. And I was sad. So I went back to sleep. Till like 12:30. The End.

Till Tomorrow!

So Excited!

Hey bloggers!!

So the Talky Blog I did yesterday just isn't working. YouTube is having issues with it and I've tried everything I can think of. Oh well.

So good news!! I get to see Mal and Kate tonight!! AHHHH! So excited! You have no idea. I have missed these ladies so much. And it couldn't have come at a better time. I had kind of a crappy night last night. But I'm not going to get into it because I only want positivity here at the blog.

Also something cool, I emailed a woman who has a recording of Mary Poppins in London. And she said she's gonna get it to me! How awesome!?

So I had the weirdest dream last night. Part of it I was in my truck up at school with this kid I went to middle school with. It was strange. Then I woke up and fell back asleep and had the good dream. I was up at school, and I was walking down a snowy mountain. I don't know why. But all of a sudden who did I see? Zac freakin' Efron. What?! And so I talked to him and invited him to come back up to the dorms and hang out with us and have a college experience. And he accepted. So we go back up to Arthur. And we get in an elevator. There is no (working) elevator in Arthur. So I decide to go to Rayshelle and Tara's room so I press 8. Then 7. Arthur only has 4 floors. Whatever. So we get off the elevator and go into the common room, and it's like a hotel. It got all pretty apparently over the summer. So I walk down to their room and say "Hey guys I have a surprise for you!" And Tara says "Yeah right! We're studying." And I say "Trust me you want this surprise." So she opens the door, sees Zac and starts screaming and jumping up and down. And then Lorena was there screaming and jumping. And they were all hugging me and Zac. And then I woke up. The end.

Till tomorrow. Or perhaps later, with Mal and Kate??

Talky Blog About... Well, Nothing

Hey, folks. I promised a Talky Blog and I recorded one too! But for some reason, YouTube is not being co-operative and uploading it. So hopefully it will be up later.

Till later!

P.S. Caramel Frapuccino with Whipped Cream from Starbucks = Amazing.

Way Too Late

This is going to be a short one, people. Why? Well, I don't have much to say considering I've only been awake for, oh... 25 minutes!! That's right. I didn't wake up until 12:35 PM. Holy. Crap. I cannot believe I slept this late! It will never happen again. Well, later on people I may do a Talky Blog, but for now I'm hungry and cooking a pizza. Until later!

Real World, Mary Poppins Sheet Music, AAT Reunion!

Hi people! As promised here's today's Talky Blog (sorry it's so dark):

The reason it's dark is because I was so annoyed with the glare on my lenses that I turned down the brightness on my monitor. Little did I know that the light from the monitor was what was illuminating my face. So there's no glare, but you can't see anything really.

As promised here's some pictures of the new kitchen:

Looks great, huh!? Also, here's the picture I tried to show you on the Talky Blog, but I didn't realize it was too dark.

That's Ashley Brown as Mary Poppins. On Broadway now. Go see it. If you can. OK, I think that's all I have for today. Until tomorrow!

Good Morning

Happy Monday!!

So I got woken up this morning to my phone buzzing. I have NO idea how I heard it because my head was under two pillows. Maybe I have, like, a sixth sense when it comes to my phone. Anyway, it was the office manager of the camp I just finished working at inviting me to the staff dinner on Thursday. I told her that this year I wouldn't be attending. Normally, I do go, and this is the first year I'm not. One reason is that it's a 40 minute drive for me, so it's not really worth it. The main reason is that on August 13 we're having an Arts at Tower Counselor Reunion!!

That's right! And I don't mean just counselors from this past year. Counselors from many years past are planning to attend, and it's going to be a really great night. I can't tell you how freakin' excited I am.

Another fun thing that's coming up, my cousin Zach is coming for a visit in two weeks. I'm gonna pick him up on Friday evening, and on Saturday we're going to the Museum of Science in Boston. We'll probably go other places around Boston, too. I can't wait. The only sad part is that Rachel was going to come with us, but she's leaving on Sunday for school, so she'll be busy packing. Sadness.

Well, I think that's all for now. OH! So I totally just watched the first episode of the new season of the Real World. It's looking good people. We'll most definitely be talking about it in Talky Blogs to come.

Until later!

Talky Blog Number 2

Hey everyone! Well, my friends...

It's late and I'm bored so I did another Talky Blog. Sorry, Fred's not in it; she didn't come over tonight. Here it is:

So another thing, which I'll talk more about in a Talky Blog tomorrow, is that I am in love with my latest sheet music book. It's Vocal Selections from Mary Poppins the Musical. Now if you're reading this then you probably know how freakin' obsessed I am with Mary Poppins. It's a bit ridiculous. Tomorrow I'll show you my "shrine". So what I've been doing is using a program called Noteworthy Composer to input the sheet music and save it into MIDI format. I am so happy people. I'll tell you more about it tomorrow.

Good night!

Album of the Month and Talky Blog

OK, so maybe I'm going a bit overboard on my first day... But I don't think so.

So I finally got my camera to work and so here's a Talky Blog!

Also, I've decided to start a monthly tradition of honoring a cast album the "Album of the Month" award. This month it's ---

[title of show]

From Wikipedia:
[title of show] is a musical that began its life at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in New York City in 2004. The show was written by and starred Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell. Michael Berresse directed. The musical's plot documents its own creation.

In a nutshell, it's a musical about two guys writing a musical about two guys writing a musical. What I love about it is the fact that it's like a workshop production. The soundtrack doesn't have a full backing orchestra. It's got keyboard. And four vocalists. It's just a really great soundtrack to listen to if you need a laugh.

Well, that's all I have to say for now. Check back later, I may have another Talky Blog with Fred. Bye, bloggers!

Pictures from Canobie... Talky Blog? Maybe Later...

Hi, bloggers!

OK, so, as promised, I'll give you some pictures from Canobie Lake.

Fred and Me on the Caterpillar. I love Rachel in the back...

Me and Rachel on the Caterpillar. Fred looks so interested in something...

Rachel, Me and Fred on DaVinci's Dream. This is a great picture of all of us.

We were really hot, so we went on the Boston Tea Party and got all wet.

We were kind of camera crazy by this point. But it's still a cool picture.

OK, so those are my Canobie Lake highlight pictures.

So I said I was going to try to get a webcam to do Talky Blogs. Well, that's not working out so much for me right now. I got the webcam, but it's not working. So I have to go get a different one and return this one. Ruin. My. Life. Until later. Perhaps a Talky Blog?

Mass Drivers Suck

OK, people.

So I just got back from going out with my grandfather. We went to Target and the Texas Roadhouse. So I kinda started out not really with it. And I realized this when I got down to my car and realized I hadn't brought the twin mattress pads I was going to return. So I had to go all the way back up to my house and my room and get the pads and the receipt. Then as I was driving to his house, I realized I had passed the right hand turn I was supposed to make like 2 minutes prior. So I had to turn around.

Things were fine from then on. Well, until we got to Target. So really for only, like, 10 minutes. So we get into Target, and he was looking for handkerchiefs. We couldn't find them ourselves, so we decided to ask an employee. The first guy I asked was kinda silly. He was saying he knew they had them because he'd bought them for his own father for his birthday or Christmas, I wasn't really paying attention, but he didn't know where because it wasn't his department. So he asks some other lady, and she tells us that they only stock handkerchiefs around the Christmas season. So now my grandfather's all ticked because he really needs them. And understandable because seriously, who only stocks handkerchiefs at Christmas? That's just weird.

So then we get in the truck and decide to check Bed, Bath and Beyond just for good measure. So as we're pulling out of the Target parking lot, I'm waiting for my turn to take a right and the guy behind me beeps. So I'm like, What?! I can't go! There are cars coming. So I see cars in the right hand lane all have their right hand blinkers on so I decide to pull out. Well, surprise! One of them wasn't turning right. And we almost crashed. And then they flipped me off. And that made my grandfather angry because it was their fault. Bed, Bath and Beyond didn't have the handkerchiefs.

Then we headed over to the Roadhouse for lunch. We get seated and the waitress came over to introduce herself and get our drink orders. She asked if we'd been there before, so I said that I had, but my grandfather hadn't. So she starts telling him about how they bake their rolls fresh, cut their own beef, and make their sauces and stuff right there. Once again, I wasn't really paying attention. Neither was he. He looks up, looks at her, looks at me and goes "What'd she just say?" And I was like, Oy. So then she takes our drink order. And asks if there's anything else she can get us right now. This is where it gets awkward. My grandfather responds with, "Yeah, your phone number." I swear to God, my jaw dropped. Literally. She was quite polite and said that she wasn't allowed to give that out. He said she was missing out. The rest of lunch was fine. My steak and salad were delicious.

Then we needed to stop at Stop & Shop so he could pick up some milk and sort out some problem with a check. I went and got the milk while he did the sorting out. Then we went to his building and ended up in an elevator of crazy people. They were talking about this man, I won't say his name, who smelled really bad. They were saying he was so fat and that's why he smelled. So the guy who started the conversation about the fat, smelly man got off the elevator. And a lady says, "What was he saying about John Doe?" And my grandfather says "That he stinks to high heaven." And this is my favorite part, she yells really loudly "THAT'S BECAUSE HE'S SO GODDAMN FAT!!" And then she apologized for swearing and got off the elevator. My grandfather then told me it's like that all the time.

Well, then I left and as I'm driving home, I took my shortcut to avoid lights. And so I'm sitting at a red light and there's a guy in a van behind me. So I'm taking a right and watching the cars coming to see if I can go. I watch the lights change and I can clearly see that I have a green now and the other cars have a red light. However, I can also see a car coming rather fast that doesn't look like it's going to stop. So I wait a second. Literally, a second. And sure enough the car doesn't stop. The van behind me though must have wanted me to just crash into the oncoming car because he was beeping at me. And I was just like, Sorry I don't feel like crashing my car today. Thanks.

And that's all. I'm thinking of getting a webcam so I can do Talky Blogs (to steal a term from Ross 'the Intern' Mathews). Well, I hope you keep checking back and leave me comments. Talk to you later, bloggers.

Check back later today or tomorrow, I'm gonna put up some pictures from my Canobie Lake trip on Thursday.

Start of Something New

Hi, bloggers!

I know there's probably not many of you, if any, but hello anyways. I started this blog so I have something to look back on later in life to see what I was doing and feeling. So let's start, huh?

Well, I'm going out to Target today with my grandfather. He needs to get handkerchiefs, and I need to return the two twin mattress pads I got and pick up a king size one. Then we're heading over to the Texas Roadhouse for lunch. I'm picking him up at 11:30, and, knowing my grandfather, I'm quite surprised he hasn't called me yet.

In other news, 21 days left until I'm finally back up at school with everyone. I miss it so much. It sucks being so secluded from everyone for so long.

OK, well I think that's all I have to say now. Perhaps I'll have something to recount when I get back from Target. If not, then I'll talk to you tomorrow or if I have something to say tonight. Leave me comments in the comment section!!

Bye, bloggers!!
